Speaking of mermaids (and Siren!) #Chiikawa

sketchpage with focus on the Siren and her mermaids from Chiikawa / なんか小さくてかわいいやつ specifically centered around the Secret of the Mermaid Island arc. The first doodle has Siren with a mermaid-shaped hole in her body and islanders filling said hole, one islander is in her mouth. Around her are bubbles and crossed-out chiikawan silhouette. Text around her says “the emptiness you left never fill. how many more do i eat until it goes away?”. Below her are various doodles of the little mermaid buddies. Next panel has a mermaid standing up and a bunch of three mermaids hugging each other. The last sketch features Siren in the dark with little mermaids singing around her head. ℹ️ September Comms Update I’ve been putting more time & care into each piece as my art has grown, and with college keeping me busier, these new prices will help make my work more sustainable while giving each piece the care I strive for. Tysm for the continued support! It means the world to me. ❤️

I’ve always done my best to keep my commission prices relatively low because I genuinely love drawing and creating art for others. However, as my art has improved and my pieces have become more time-intensive, while college has also gotten busier, I’ve realized that my current prices are no longer sustainable for the time and care I put into each commission.

Starting in September, my base commission prices will be:
Bust Up: $50 
Halfbody: $65 
Fullbody: $80
PWYW minimum is also $50 now, but you’ll be getting higher effort work for that base price.

These new prices will allow me to complete commissions at a reasonable pace while maintaining the level of quality and care I strive to put into every piece, while also giving me the time and energy to balance my work with college.

Thank you for understanding this change. I sincerely appreciate the continued support and patience, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support me and my art. ❤️ -G

The base price will be:
Paint Halfbody: $50 

I’ll look into opening more options in general. The idea is to make my base prices $50 minimum so I can take a max of 4 slots a month.
