I have no stake in the crossworlds dlc race but they should've added a baku car

Kuromi riding Baku, from the My Melody anime. Baku is a purple, vaguely tapir-themed character with a small button nose, large rabbit-like ears, completely white eyes, stubby legs/feet, and a light purple band around his torso reminiscent of a Malaysian tapir. Poor Jaws. Imagine being a Sonic 1 fish in a world where Chopper is increasingly taking over that role. The main thing that differentiated Chopper and Jaws was that Chopper can't swim underwater, and even that's not true anymore. AND it mostly shares its name with another, more relevant Badnik.

It's an unwinnable match unfortunately, because the original powerup's purpose was to make the bearer become an unreasonable facsimile of Peach, so if you make a design that's more divergent then people are going to ask "Why doesn't she look like Peach?"

This is the first time ARQ does artwork for the body of a comic too (as opposed to just cover art) which is a shame because he's clearly REALLY talented but that means his proper Sonic debut will always be "the fortnite x sonic story comic"

Panel 1:
Metal Sonic, alongside a Motobug, Crabmeat, Egg Pawn, Sandworm, and a Spinner (alongside other, obscured Badniks) walk into frame while Eggman and Fortnite's Geno talk offscreen. All of the Badniks (sans Metal Sonic) use their Colors/Generations-style of designs. Only Metal Sonic, Motobug, and the Crabmeat are well-lit, with the other Badniks being increasingly obscured by darkness the further back they are. Their cyan parts glow, making them look menacing.

Eggman: "Good, good...I hope you don't mind that I brought some of my Badniks along to help. It just doesn't feel like home without them around!"

sonic enemies come in two flavors

Apparently they're called "jacks" which is so different that they have a separate page from springs on the Mario Wiki. Just look at how radically disparate they are from springs:

unattractive? These are all hallmarks of a transphobic, particularly transmisogynistic, caricature. A fat, perverted man in a dress is a staple among trans woman stereotypes. Frankly, it's astounding to miss the similarities between this and similar caricatures.

It's the same string of logic, yeah. I don't think you can approve this kind of character design while feeling normal about trans people, particularly trans women.
