My mom caught a stomach bug earlier this week and therefore yesterday I ALSO caught this stomach bug and spent the past 24 hours in misery. I have to important lessons to share: - NEVER catch a stomach bug when your only bathroom is an outdoor portapotty 😭 - GET YOUR FLU SHOT.

Friday update on Paddy and Me: HER POOP LOOKED GROSS IN A NORMAL WAY TODAY! I’m still recovering from my shots, but I thought you’d like to hear that stinky little update. It’s very warm today, so I’m taking extra care to keep us both cool. Thank you for all the kind thoughts and support!

We are both taking it easy today. I’m feeling the side effects of all my migraine shots from yesterday and Paddy is very content to just nap and cuddle with me all day. She’s still not eating as much as I’d like but her water intake is better. Please keep sending us healing strength!
