Just got home from seeing RENT at Neptune Theatre in Halifax, and it was absolutely amazing! I never thought I'd get to see RENT performed live, this has been a dream of mine for so many years! The cast was phenomenal and the actor who played the role of Mark stole the damn show he was so good!

Rome is such a great show! The relationship between Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus was amazing, and the actors who played those two were so great in the roles! Too bad the second season was so rushed and it did not get a third season. Now I am going to have to start binge watching this again!

So they're just admitting that they are killing random innocent people now. Great. DHS / ICE needs to be dismantled. 😠

I will never actually understand what makes people so prone to being cruel. Everyone has to live on this earth, can't we all just treat people with respect and dignity?

Well, now I know I definitely want to see this movie.

Anthony Stewart Head has passed away, and my heart is broken now from this news. He was such a talented actor, and had an amazing singing voice, and he will be dearly missed.

Amy Lee has such a beautiful, ethereal voice and her singing is phenomenal. I also really loved Chester Bennington's voice. I also recommend Marko Saaresto from Poets of the Fall, his voice is magical.

AI generated art and literature is just not as good as human-created art and literature. There's no personality or soul in AI.

Some people just like to argue - but this is so ridiculous! Comparing a TV to food that people need to survive is just being argumentative for the sake of it. These people are content to hide their heads in the sand and pretend that starvation and poverty is not real.

Good grief that's scary... I hope you feel better and recover well and soon!

One time a bunch of years back I tripped over my cat and fell hard, hit my head on my desk on the way down and still was more upset about landing on my cat. Luckily she wasn’t hurt but I still felt awful about it. Cats are so resilient and they can get out of danger fast.

Lily Linders @lilylinders.bsky.social · 23/10/2025

Congrats! I wish you a swift recovery and I wish you all the best!

My cat Thor loves to lay on our clothes when we set outfits on the bed in preparation to go out - I wonder if it's the fresh smell of clean laundry, or is Thor just trying to stop us from going out? Lint rollers are very useful when one has cats!

Cars in general are so expensive to maintain... we had to get our car fixed recently and it took two trips to the shop and a total of about $2300.00! On the upside, I longer have to worry about the brakes dying mid-drive! lol

010

Lily Linders @lilylinders.bsky.social · 08/10/2025

Moo Moo loved you so much he loved laying on you, and now Molly is showing her love the same way - my cats Thor and Freya like to lay on me and my husband as well; maybe it's just a cat affection thing! Cats are wonderful creatures!

I am so happy for you! It's scary to have to go through cancer tests; I had cancer a couple years ago when the doctor found something during an unrelated surgery. Luckily they were able to get all the cancerous bits out before it spread and I am now cancer-free as well. Cancer doctors are great!

My husband and I adopted a female kitten almost two years ago, and her spay was done on her the day before we took her home from the shelter, and she recovered fairly quickly - Molly should be fine, but it's natural to worry about our furry friends! Good luck to her for her appointment!

010

Lily Linders @lilylinders.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

I am so sorry... this is something that I think terrifies everyone who loves their cats, that the meows might be more than just a meow. I can only imagine the horror of losing one's furry friend so suddenly and without warning.

I saw the movie Sinners today, and I have to say it was the best damn movie I have seen in a LONG time! Michael B Jordan was fantastic as twin brothers Smoke and Stack, his acting chops are superb! This movie was so beautifully made, and I will likely be seeing it again very soon!

Was it hard to get approved to go on Ozempic? I am a Type 2 Diabetic too, my doctor wants to put me on Ozempic but he needs a consult from the Endocrinologist and so far they have not called me to set up a consult... I don't know how different it would be in Canada for me rather than America.
