Would you read a webcomic with this art style?? Im still on the storyboard phase but i always find some time to draw my OC melchior. Recently i feel really insecure about my artstyle ._.

Original Charakter Melchior from the Webtoon "in the Name of the Crown", hes a rogue with dark hair and yellow eyes. Hes standing in front of a night sky holding a rose in his mouth. #comicart #webcomic #webtoon #ocs #art #digitalart

Several months of animation testing in #live2d. The facetracking technology is really insane cool but the amount of work to give every expression an animation was a looot to do. I drew the whole char in clipstudio by myself too. Background is an edited photo I made.

LilStories @lilstories.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

I dont know why Im doing this to myself, but I had an idea. Lets see how many hours of tears it will be this time. it took me 4 hours so far and this is just grids lol x.x but thank god ClipStudio has perspective rules thats a huge help ~ Can u guess what Im up to? #workinprogress #sketch

The first round of dress concept. I lije the vibe and the colours (after trying 1000 colour combinations lol) but I think ima go a bit more brave in the final concept 👀 and with brave I mean HUGE DRESS UWU- brave. This feels a bit to modern for a queen of a dark mood renaissance comic. #dress #art

050

LilStories @lilstories.bsky.social · 09/09/2025

First concept of my "female lead" if u will from my comic. I wanted to stay a bit closer to the renaissance vibe the comic is going to have, but Im probably remaking her dress, since I did a lot of research after this art and figured new stuff. #art #comic #conceptart

So im working on an Oneshot for like a year or so (not as frequently) Im not really at the drawing stage rn but tried getting to know the main Charakter. So I gave him a first try on the looks. I will probably change the artstyle to something easier later. Till then, Meet Melchior, the blade. #art

So here's what I got so far. Dozens of hours of work, and there are still some mistakes I want to fix. (Like I tried to make the snow realistic with the wind direction changing in the backgroun. But now I feel like its to messy, and the animation is not looping correctly)

010

LilStories @lilstories.bsky.social · 01/09/2025

Im aaaaalmost there. Aaalmost.

020

LilStories @lilstories.bsky.social · 10/08/2025

Hair + clothes need fixing. Gonna add snow and clouds later. Used live2d for these animations, but gonna switch to blender for snow. Blender is really scary a lot of projects died there cause I got frustrated with the software easily.. but maybe just a little snow would'nt be so hard, right? Right?😭

010

LilStories @lilstories.bsky.social · 08/08/2025

May i present to u: Sword. This is actually a OC believe it or not XD this OC is 10 years old... just digged it out for practing Blender. It has some crazy lore too but I dont have the space here to write it down xD But we all have our childhood OCs, some did magical girls I did talking swords. 🗡️✨

LilStories @lilstories.bsky.social · 07/08/2025

This is what Im currently working on. It will be an animation at the end :3 Did the drawing in ClipStudioPaint And will animate it in live2d (and some snow and effect stuff in blender if I find out how to lol) I really really wanted to try animating wings. This charakter is from a story Im writing
