I so appreciate owners like you. My dogs are small but are reactive (both were rescues) to other dogs. They love humans though . And, honestly, they wouldn’t be able to hurt a big dog but the one today was their size. Just don’t understand

Lillias @lilsh.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Yup! I had someone cross the street to try to get our dogs to meet. This was *after I’d crossed the street to put space between us #confused

Lillias @lilsh.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Yes! Thank you. They’re such special creatures, I don’t want any of them to get hurt. Also, your sportsmix isn’t wrong…

Lillias @lilsh.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Haha! That’s a good one Yeah, the part of me saying, they’re reactive and of her dismissing me is what really pissed me off. I mean come on! She would’ve been so upset if something had happened to her dog. I don’t get it

If you want to take your dog off leash, take them to somewhere designated for off leash activities. Please. #rant #dogs

In the past couple of months, we've been charged by an off leash German Shepherd and then a Yellow Lab. One of my dogs was so scared, she squeezed out of her harness and ran. Luckily, I was able to find her within the 1/2 hour. It could've been worse but it shouldn't have happened at all. #rant #dog

People are so f-ing entitled. #Dog owners please put your dog on a leash. That's the law here. When I ask you to leash up your dog, perhaps don't scoff & dismiss me. My dogs are reactive. Trying to protect your dog. Also, I have a temper & when you act like a bitch, I'm going to cuss you out. #rant

Both my sister and my daughter are going to be flying into the same airport around the same time from 2 different directions. Travel plans were made independently Will I be obsessively tracking both? You betcha ✈️ 🛩️

Mom is really into genealogy. I’m interested but not like how she is. Will be going to Scotland in about a month and she wants me to visit a historical society and look up an ancestor. From the 1800s. Can’t we just sign up for ancestry or one of the other sites and look him up? #lazy

Quilters, immigrant rights advocates and an interfaith coalition unveiled the ‘Stolen Neighbors Quilt’ with 11,000 squares at the Minnesota State Capitol to honor Minnesotans detained by ICE since January 2025.

We definitely need to have a societal conversation about teachers, parents & students. Teachers are getting the brunt of the craziness. Not ok. What got me going earlier was the commentary from older people about how terrible Gen Z, Alpha & Beta were. Without acknowledging how we got here.

Lillias @lilsh.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

It's been going on for awhile, so many in our generation & older have been complaining nonstop about the young "kids" and their lack of knowledge, motivation, blah blah blah. We really need to acknowledge the fact that we are responsible for the state of the world. Just so sick of the complainers.

Lillias @lilsh.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

How do the younger generations get the blame for not being well educated when the older gens set the policy? When we set the curriculum? Do we think that Gen Z, Alpha, and now, Beta, walk into a voting booth, go a school board meeting, work as administrators? Make it make sense #OurFailure

I can’t wrap my head around their thinking. Yes, those diseases aren’t as prevalent precisely because of the vaccines. They drive me crazy

That would’ve been hard, I’m sorry! And that was before all the technology to keep track of you?

This actually extends to kids in college/university too. Let them learn how to adult #helicopterparents

One thing I don’t miss about parenting minors is the helicoptering done by other parents. Good lord, let your kid figure it out. Let them stumble & learn to pick themselves up. Yes, we can help them. Help not do for them *referring to neurotypical kids & their overly involved parents /rant

Took a short hike with a friend in Nisene State Park. Quite lovely seeing all of the redwoods. Wouldn’t call this a hike, more like a nice stroll

Little creek in the middle of the forest. Guide said that during the spring there’s rushing water. Still lovely and so clear

Have roofers doing their magic this week. Much needed replacement. Old roof held up close to 50 years 👀 The fun part is not all noise from their work but that they have music blaring. There’s life in this old people neighborhood 🎶💿📻

A personal post - 2nd child is back from his 10 week internship. First time both kids were on the other coast from us. We were truly empty nesting this summer. Last time it was just us was over 25 years ago. Came to the conclusion that we still like each other :)

Have been looking for new series to start. This looks like a good one!

010

Lillias @lilsh.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

You can still do it! I forget to record days all the time and then I have go back on my weather app and look them up. Was diligent at the beginning of the year and then life happens :) Now I stitch a month at a time

010

Lillias @lilsh.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

You definitely should! One of the hardest parts is remembering to keep track of the days. And with this particular pattern, I've found it easier to pick it up once a month instead of daily.

Been working on a temperature tracker pattern since Jan 1st. Capturing the high of each day for 2026. Can’t wait to see it all come together. Pattern by Climbing Goat Designs #crossstitch #fabricart #crafting

Solar System Temperature Tracker, pattern by climbing Goat Designs

Sun is in the middle, represents Jan
Mercury (right beneath the sun) = Feb
Venus (left of Mercury) = Mar
Earth (top right of sun) = Apr
Mars (top left of sun) = May
Asteroid Belt = Jun
Jupiter (bottom right) = Jul
Saturn (very top, still working on it) = Aug
