Last gasp of summer. Garden tomato with fresh basil on toasted ancient grain sourdough bread, drizzled with olive oil, and sprinkled with salt and pepper. I’ll be remembering this sandwich fondly when I see those waxy winter tomatoes at the grocery store in a few weeks…
