It is well-documented that Japan was on the verge of surrender and the US was fully aware of it prior to dropping the bomb on Hiroshima. The only purpose it served was to threaten the USSR, which then began a nuclear race the world never would have seen if the US had not directly caused it.

Like if you give me a deeply technical programming task I know perfectly well how to implement that by hand, but the industry now wants me to put that into a human language that can be interpreted by a model the way a manager would instruct their subordinates and I have no idea how to even begin.
