Remember that weird neanderthal-ish bleach blonde from a few years ago, Marjorie Taylor Greene? She's woken up and found a brain 🤯

Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene
@FmiRepMTG

Oh he sent me an email, | think I'll respond.
So yes, actually you did do something wrong President Trump, let’s
first start with your broken campaign promises.
You protected your pedophile rapists friends instead of women who
were raped when they were just teenage girls and you STILL REFUSE to
release the Epstein files.
You started an unprovoked war with Iran that the vast majority of
Americans do NOT support. You killed hundreds of children at a school
in Iran and innocent people and are responsible for 21 U.S. service
members deaths and 865 wounded. Your stupid war that you claim
you have won like 50 times has destroyed our bases in the Middle East
and hundreds of billions of dollars worth of military equipment and
weapons, while depleting our weapons and ammunitions.
You are supporting, funding, and aiding genocide in Gaza that has
resulted in approximately 22,000 children murdered, thousands of
children with amputations, and over 70,000 orphans. And your so
called Board of “Peace” has done nothing to stop war and is planning
to oversee the very profitable reconstruction and take over of Gaza.
One can only guess who all will get those blood money contracts, the
Epstein class and associates.
And let’s talk about the basics that every single US presidents
supposed to guarantee to its citizens. Affordable cost of living and
affordable fuel in which you have 100% failed to deliver and actually
driven inflation and irresponsibly driven the cost of gasoline and diesel
to record high levels.
So did you do something wrong?
Yes in summary, YOU are the snake that you warned us all about in the
poem you read over and over.
You never cared about putting America first or making America great
again.
You are the deep state, the Epstein class, and America last.
And my mistake was supporting you in the first place.

A window in the stairwell at Scotland's National Portrait Gallery. #FensterFreitag #SilentSunday
Photo taken from inside a dark stairwell of a view out of a window of many small panes of glass. There is a bust in silhouette in front of the window. Above the rectangle of the main window there is a kind of "bullseye" window, shaped like a flower with four petals. At the centre of this is some stained glass, featuring Scotland's flag. Outside you can see a low tree and the rear of a stone building with traditional Edinburgh windows.

This inappropriate, contaminated soil (spread out over a whole farm) killed all life in a river and the whole lake it empties into. Worth reading this article for insight into how the Environmental Agency in England and local councils are toothless against polluters. #ecocide
On my first visit to Furnace Book, in April 2025, large heaps of what looked
like soil and manure were clearly visible on the lower fields of Morgans Farm.
Jack has seen them up close. “The heaps were a very, very low grade of kind
of compressed clay topsoil, sort of slag mixed with chunks of ceramic, red
brick, tarmac scalpings - which are toxic to aquatic life and have to be
controlled and licensed in their storage and their implementation on
farmland, according to the government’s own laws. There was a lot of plastic
refuse in there, plasterboard, all sorts of foreign objects, which I would not
consider to be a clean, acceptable level to be putting all over permanent
pasture in a protected landscape.”

I feel offended beyond all words by politicians who have been wrongly advised that voters don't care about having a liveable planet. Stop with the climate "hushing". Looking at you, @ScottishGreens and @SNP #LeaveItInTheGround
This calls into question the strategy of “climate hushing” that some
Democrats in the US - and even progressive politicians in other countries -
have embraced, amid a widespread perception that voters care only about
the cost of living.

According to the Potential Energy Coalition polling, that is not the case:
about two-thirds of people in the US believe that if public officials refuse to
acknowledge the reality of global heating, they are putting people at risk. A
similar number said societies could not prepare for extreme weather if they
were not willing to talk about the climate crisis.

William Gibson mentioned this Bowie song in his stream today, and how it had risen up in his mind. I was not familiar with it, but now I see the lyrics I understand why it feels topical. Five Years, by David Bowie:
Pushing through the market square
So many mothers sighing (sighing)
News had just come over
We had five years left to cry in (cry in)
News guy wept and told us
Earth was really dying (dying)
Cried so much his face was wet
Then | knew he was not lying (lying)

| heard telephones, opera house, favorite melodies
| saw boys, toys, electric irons and TV's
My brain hurt like a warehouse, it had no room to spare
| had to cram so many things to store everything in there
And all the fat, skinny people
And all the tall, short people
And all the nobody people
And all the somebody people
| never thought I'd need so many people

The repression of all beings who are not white males is one of the incentives that propel patriarchies. The chain of violence often starts with cruelty to animals, moves on to women, children, people of colour, the neurodiverse and people with non-standard sexuality.

This is because domestic violence is a plank in the far-right platform—
not a coincidence, not a correlation, but the result of a concerted effort
to live and govern such that it is easier for men to beat their wives and
children, a goal the far right believes in and strives for
