I just posted a reference to “Friday I’m in love” and now I have that lovely song in my head. 🥰 I‘m working on replacing the Saturday line with Caturday, so. I would like to get the earworm out but probably not for a little while.

The cats on Caturday. The floor cat, looking up at his big sis, is about to pounce. She hisses first but that all happens after the photo, sorry y’all missed it.

Photo description: beautiful white and grey tabby cat sitting on wingback chair, eyes closed. Beautiful grey tabby cat staring up at her. Sun coming through the window, Swedish ivy growing wild.

Another search I did a few days ago after I saw someone post it. Maybe Google ai does this to get us all riled up and posting about it but maybe it’s just this bad?

This is another Google AI result that’s funny sad: how many p’s in the word pneumonia? I tested this after I saw another person post the search because I thought “surely Google AI has figured out its error?” But it hadn’t. From a few days ago - not sure if it’s right today

The screenshot text:
Me: how many p’s in the word pneumonia
Answer:
“There are 2 p’s in the word pneumonia (p-n-e-u-m-o-n-I-a). [quora hyperlink]
The first ‘p’ appears at the very beginning of the word, but it is silent when spoken. The second ‘p’ appears in the middle. [facebook hyperlink]”

“It’s Friday I’m in fish”

Screenshot of my Google search for the wild (bad) AI response to the question: “how many days of the week have a fish in them”. Others have gotten multiple days, lots of Saturfish screenshots.
The Google search ai text:

My search: “how many days of the week have a fish in them”
AI response (word for word):
“Exactly one day of the week has “fish” in its name: Friday.

If you are thinking of the riddle “which days of the week have an “h” in them,” the answer is three:
Thursday
Should
Shall

Wait… that’s the classic joke! But for the actual word “fish,” it’s just Friday.”

Doing what I can to help out.

Photo at night, 45° parallel, Oregon. Everyone in the us can see aurora borealis tonight and this is our view. There are grey clouds that are a little bright due to city lights. There are dark trees on the bottom half of the photo. A shorter caption for this photo could be “a bummer.”

🥹 My hold is ready after 8 weeks because my library acquired 6 more copies. ✨ Excited to finally hear/read this! @swordsjew.bsky.social

Screenshot of my Libby app telling me: the wait is over. Ready to borrow! Wild Faith, How the Christian Right is Taking Over America, by Talia Lavin with options listed to borrow, manage hold or deliver later. There’s a photo of the book cover and it’s an audio book that is 10 hours.
Also says: your holdings ready after 8 weeks because the library acquired 6 more copies.

Alma is a professional cat. She does catting professionally.

#almaagain
Alma Cuddlesweetie is on her favorite throw blankie which is resting on my lap. The photo is in portrait layout with Alma in the center, longwise, on her back with her four white paws and belly showing for the camera. Her eyes are closed because somehow this is the most relaxed she gets. Her back and the top of her head are pokey-dot grey tabby pattern.
The blanket she sits on is a jewel-tone blue with geometric shapes. It’s fuzzy-ish. My slippers are barely visible at the top of the photo and there’s some wood floor beyond that.

This is what happens when someone posts that one of the baddies has arrived: you go look for them to block but you’ve already blocked them because of a trusted mod list you’ve subscribed to. Just poof! Not there.

A screenshot of the BlueSky mobile search page. On a white background. The search field has “realbabylonbee” and then below the tabs “top, latest, people, feeds” “No results found for realbabylonbee”.

If there was a soundtrack for this screenshot it would be Madonna’s Ray of Light. (There’s no soundtrack)

If you see this, please repost with a favorite photo of the sky you’ve taken recently. (Please add alt text for accessibility!)

Evening photo west facing sky with low mountains in the distance and a faint glow above them. The feature of this photo is of comet Tsuchinchan Atlas which can be seen faintly streaking the sky headed toward the sun.
This comet was out in October 2024 and photo was taken in Oregon.

Alma today on Caturday (which is every day)

Alma Cuddlesweetie, a grey and white tabby with white feet, legs, chest and chin, is back on her blanket which is blue with white geometric lines. It’s a little fuzzy.
Alma’s pose is choice: she’s balled up mostly and she has her left back foot between her two front legs and her right back foot just beneath them, which are stretched out. Her paws are spread out, too, like she’s gonna grab something. But she can’t cause she doesn’t have thumbs! Alma is staring maybe at her finger tips or possibly into space - hard to tell!

A curious BlueSky case! Brianna Wu is on two opposing (or not??) mod lists I subscribe to. That’s kinda interesting. But also - I have one list blocked and one muted. Is the latter why I can even see her profile?

Cat sitting today this sweet orange tabby head-butting boy. He’s blurry because he head butted my hands when I started to take his picture. He is a very good boy.
