iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Definitely yes but usually love triangles are more needlessly added drama

Its usually a couple that fake date for some contrived reason for the plot and fall in love in the process. I find it silly myself.

She is technically his teacher

There's throuple potential with a narakyian, gardlian and irenian somewhere in ofd.

This is no judgement on the kink, just in het romances in my area its almost a requirement. Now some kind of ancient eldritch being with a naive adult human? Yes please.

See i can get behind that but they're so rare to find!

I'm also just not a huge fan of age gap relationships? I like characters to have similiar experiences and be in the same place emotionally. You wouldn't think it but this gal is actually just a few months older then him.

How much do you like these tropes? Enemies to lovers: 6/10 Second chance: 9/10 Fake dating: 4/10 Friends to lovers: 10/10 Age gap: 2/10 Found family: 8/10 Grumpy x sunshine: 4/10 Pregnancy: 9/10 Slow burn: 1000/10 Love triangle: 3/10 I want romance to edge me half a decade.

Not to butt in but absolute yikes.

I was thinking about this today and anthropomorphic monster romance and monstrosity monster romance could be the distinction. Unfortunately tho it is just one giant umbrella from crawling slime creature to man in business suit with fangs.

1100

Ah that's tough! If it makes you feel better I'm probably on the spectrum too and i lock up in conversations irl haha

060

To clarify also, I don't disagree. There should probably be two categories, mildly dangerous monster that cosplays problematic relationship dynamics and actual, I'll rip you to shreds monstrosity lol.

People, especially cishet women, crave safety in their sexual interactions but also want to toe lines into danger. Monsters but safe are a good shorthand for that.

FYI, from Toocheke. They added a Tapas migration feature.

A screenshot of an email that says

Import Your Tapas.io Comics Into WordPress
You may have seen the news about Tapas shutting down. If you or anyone you know publish there, you’re probably wondering what happens to all of your comics and years of work.

We’ve just added a new import feature to Toocheke Companion (available in version 2.23+) that can move an entire Tapas series into WordPress for you — including episodes, images, thumbnails, and original publish dates.

It keeps everything in order, so you don’t have to manually copy and paste hundreds of pages.

I'm not a PoC so I am not qualified to answer that lol. I'll defer to PoC who have knowledge in the topic.

Exactly. I'm not a fan of certain kinks myself, but that doesn't mean I think they need to be banned. I just act like an adult and move on from the post/image/conversation.

There is no negotiating this. You can choose to live in a sexually repressive society where any 'alternate' lifestyles are outlawed or you don't.

When you say 'all erotica is bad, no exceptions' you inevitably end up down the rabbit hole of conservatism where LGBT folks, queer culture and anything deemed 'strange' sexually is renounced and eventually banned through legal means.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed thinking about how little I'm doing in comparison to my peers and I have to breathe and remind myself of that wise post about how we'll mush together everyone in our timeline into one giant 'creator' that is outputting more then anyone could ever possibly manage.

I relate to this, I've seen some awful behaviour in my area especially when I was younger but I was terrified to speak out. Part of my job was being 'likeable' and 'easygoing' because that's how you would source work.
