#KingBugtober Day 10? Day 11? Back to 100 GFs! Looked like I was going in chronological order, didn't it? SURPRISE~!! Twas related pairs all along! Yakuzen Kusuri and Yakuzen Yaku! Yaku... Is one of my favorites. She's cute and she made me realize how absurd this all was. LOVE Grandma GF.

A drawing of three characters from 100 Girlfriends. Left to right, text reads Kusuri (mini), Yaku, and Kusuri (big). Both a younger and older version of Kusuri wear school uniforms and hold science flasks as they nuzzle Yaku in the middle, wearing a kimono and winking coyly.

#KingBugtober Day 9! Morgan... Still doesn't have a surname or anything! I went through three poses before landing here and it gave me a headache so we're just gonna... Put him here. He looks pretty different when he's not smirking, huh?

A young man wearing a black crop top, low waisted pants, and very large glasses bends double, bracing his hands on his thighs and peering at something in the distance. On the ground next to him is a large bag and jacket.

#KingBugtober Day 8! ...it's been a pretty long day at work and I had some ttrpg stuff so I was very sleepy today... So. Cutiefly is ALSO sleepy. It's POSSIBLE I could find a new favorite pokemon in Wind/Waves but idk how. Can't really beat perfection.

#KingBugtober Day 7! "Could it be!?" "The next two" "destined lovers" "have descended!" Yoshimoto Shizuka and Eiai Nano from 100 Girlfriends! Honestly, they might be my favorites... Shizuka in particular is SO cute that the karaoke episode almost killed me.

Shizuka and Nano from the series 100 girlfriends, posed next to each other. Shizuka has long, curly hair and timidly smiles up her cell phone in hand; Nano has pale hair, a blank expression, and a rigid pose. She's giving an awkward peace sign.

#KingBugtober Day 6!! It's about time for a Defiant Bride, don't you think~? I actually started sketching this yesterday... But work tired me out so I'm still finishing a bit late.

#KingBugtober continues!! Day 3 is The Regent from StS2 (Slay the Spire 2)!! Am I good with His Majesty? No. But do I love him? With all my goddamn heart.

The Regent, an alien from Slay the Spire 2 with a four pointed star for a head and one smugly smiling eye. He sits upon his throne with legs crossed and points dramatically, summoning stars at the top of his finger.

I realized bugtober is already a thing so from here on out I'm doing #KingBugtober!! Day 2 is... Rentaro from the 100 Girlfriends who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You! There was only supposed to be one heart but somehow they started multiplying. How strange...

Text reads: Aijou Rentaro. A chibi drawing of Rentaro from the series 100 Girlfriends. He holds a huge heart, smiling and resting his cheek on top and js surrounded by countless other hearts.

I don't remember if I tried to do an art thing last year or if I was too busy with work... But I shall try again this year!!! #Bugtober or w/e! Day 1 with Plum and her knight, Lee! He can't move anymore. His legs are gonna go numb... But anything for his Kobold...

An inked drawing of a man in a helmet, Lee, sitting with a much smaller kobold, Plum, curled up in his lap. Plum's tail is wagging and Lee rests one hand on their hip.

This is gonna take a while and this is all very very sketchy and subject to change... but. Think I've got Morgan's look down~

A very sketchy drawing of a young man with short hair, a wizard robe, glasses and a sly smile

King Bug @lilbugprincess.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Took a while, but I'm happy with this for Plum's usual outfit~ (she/they) They've got blanket dibs on any jewelry and gems the party finds while adventuring.

A colored drawing of a short, dragon-y Kobold on a simple background. She's mint green with gold highlights and is wearing a simple outfit with cutouts at the shoulders and hips. They've got gold jewelry on both wrists and ankles, along with a necklace, earrings, and accessories by their horns.

Summer Plum, Winter Plum!! Alternatively, Plum at level 1 and a very similar yet distinctly more powerful Plum you meet at level 30 who has different drops

Plum, the same Kobold, in a minty blue-green

King Bug @lilbugprincess.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Got the whole party drawn, now... I am content. Temporarily. Prillac... rhymes with "hillock". Only guy with an unusual name.

A dragon like man, Prillac, sneers in irritation at a slightly confused helmeted man, Lee. In another sketch, Prillac glances down at a tiny dragon half his height, Plum. She says hi, while he thinks "cute."

A sketch of a human in a big robe with round glasses, Morgan, sitting next to a dragon like man, Prillac. The two are sitting on the ground holding their knees. Morgan remarks, "They've been gone a while..." and Prillac responds "Shut up." In irritation.

King Bug @lilbugprincess.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Got a lil time before work so I got time to introduce folks to Prillac!! A proud Brass Dragonborn archer, he worked with Lee a few times in the past and has decided to join up again for further glory and riches!! He had a Moment with Lee that he swore would be a one off. No really, just that once!!

A sketch of a dragon-headed humanoid with digitigrade feet and a long, thing tail. He has stubby horns and frilled ears, spikes down his spine and a cocky sxpression. He wears an Archer's chest guard, bracer and glove on his right side, over top a decorated open vest and sleeveless shirt. Hes got baggy pants rhat gather at the ankle, a tight sash over his wasit, and decorated armlets on his biceps.

Smaller sketches of the same dragon, showing a testnof his clothes with a sleeve and tassers and a back view to highlight slits on the side of his pants and a nice rear.

A sketch of a dragon man excitedly yelling "Fight Me!" While ripping off his coat and sash

Gone basically my entire life never drawing characters with snouts and now I'm throwing myself in the deep end and I have no one but myself to blame!!! I'll talk about him after I finalize his design, but he's a proud guy who wants everyone to know his name!!! He WILL defeat his rival!

A sketch of a dragon-like man, still unfinished. He has a broad chest, slim waist, and muscled legs. His head is full dragon, with sharp eyes and spikes all along.

guy who loves magic and knowledge and has a totally normal amount of interest in the more ADULT schools of magic and can be trusted to use them responsibly and doesn't have a variety of incredibly sketchy skills. He's nice!! Very friendly. Interested in Fairy Kobolds and how they affect people.

Text reads: Morgan. a quick pencil sketch of a young man in an oversized robe with some kind of amulet. He has chin length dark hair, wild bangs, and a big looping ahoge. He wears very large glasses, has a mole under his eye, and has a smile like he's scheming something.

@hatsnake.bsky.social 's Lee the Knight (Errant)! Getting the shape of the armor down, bit by bit! It's supposed to be plain but good quality, and his breastplate is leather. There's some stigma against relationships between scaled and mammalian people and Kobolds are kind of looked down upon...

A sketch of an armored helmet from the side with a swooping low back and a small slit for vision. Notes read: Further out (pointing at the visor), Just decorative! (Pointing at a curved line along the side), and Overlaps (pointing at two lines on the very back.

A quick sketch of a man in layered armor with a breastplate, cloak ober one shoulder, tunic, and chain shirt. On either side are more detailed sketches of some of the layers, including a long sleeved shirt

A very small and rough sketch of Lee in his helmet being surprised by Plum, a much smaller kobold, peeking over his shoulder

Took this photo for Hat, realized I can share it with others I didn't like the direction I was going with Plum's outfit... It felt too elegant and ethereal for her! I went back with an eye on her personality and I think I have something that feels MUCH more cute and lively, while still being sexy!

A pencil sketch of Plum, a little kobold in a new outfit. It has long, puffy sleeves, a high collar, a sash around the waist with a huge bow in the back, and knee-length pants with enormous hip cutouts. She's got little decorations on her horns, anklers, visible high leg panty strings, and a big smile.

King Bug @lilbugprincess.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

More or less finished Plum the Kobold~! A tiny, cheerful, immensely powerful magic-user who travels the world with their Knight Bodyguard, Lee! She's a magnet for traps and often ends up in VERY compromising positions... but she doesn't let that get her down! I'll draw their outfit another day.

Text reads: Plum the Kobold. She/they. JR, 9/7/26. A full color reference image of a small Kobold, sans clothing. They're a light aqua color with a pale stomach and gold accents on patches over their hide, at the ends of their hands and feet, and in their horns. They have bright pink eyes and a shy smile. They've got droopy ears, wide hips, digitigrade legs, and very thick hands and feet with clawed fingers and toes. Their base colors are in hearts to the right of them.

I never really played him....... but even now, I truly love Anarba Bairon.

Anarba Bairon stands tall, his every muscle and the hold of his posture a sort of confidence that suggests that while, at this moment, he may not be, he will at some point in the near future... get oiled up.

So my old FC was an academic institution and I just found the list of titles I prepared for an event years ago which let people walk off with books Def was weeding from the library. I LOVE committing to elaborate yet stupid bits and I loved running really silly events for that group.

A chart with book titles and their reason for removal. The Male-strom: Considered inaccurate depiction of maelstrom barrack life. The horn function of the Auri peoples: Interesting but written by someone who has never seen an Au-ra. My General, My Leader: All romantic fiction starring alliance leaders to be removed. A Primer to Magitek Detonations: Completely lacking safety instructions. Take at own risk. Beyond Topaz: A Rainbow of Carbuncles: Disappointingly light on gem theory, heavy on carbuncle-friendly dyes. Nym's Martial Failings: An Analysis: Very obvious and heavy Mhachi bias makes information unreliable. Nym's Martial Prowess: A Response: A 330 page diss track, rather than an academic source. 1000 Ways to Cook Popotoes: Author ran out of popoto recipes at 417, has "popoto water" listed. Among the Amal'jaa: A Beast Tribe Tale: Informative but becomes an uncomfortably erotic tale halfway through.

A list of book titles and their reason for removal. The TRUTH about LALAFELLS: Lalafells probably not actually colonies of tiny lifeforms with hiveminds. Thavnarian Nights: The Sensual Saga of a Lustful Lamplighter: Truly terrible and inaccurate localization of original material. Hurdy-Gurdy: Dispute over existence of "Hurdy-Gurdy". A Field Guide to Allagan Chimeras: Section on creating one's own chimera deemed unsuitable for school use. Triple Triad Strategies and Techniques: Teaching players how to hide cards not considered "Strategy". A Thousand Years of Longing: Dragon Romance book, but really, really garbage dragon romance. Sixth Astral Styles for Young Men and Women: Considered unnecessary for magic college and also fairly ugly. Ballroom Dancing: Chocobo Trot: Chocobo Trot no longer popular at bonding ceremonies. Horses???: Contrary to author's thesis, horses do, in fact, exist. Predictions for the Seventh Umbral Age: Author was on a staggering amount of drugs and it shows.

A list of book titles and their reasons for removal. Get Rich Quick, The Ul'dahn Way!: We do not encourage pyramid schemes in the Collegia. The Admiral's Secret Life: All romantic fiction starring Alliance Leaders to be removed. Why Jojohnny Doesn't Void Summon Anymore: Scene involving Ahriman emerging from Jojohnny's eye socket a bit much. Chronicles of Raen Hidden Villages: Unrealistic depictions of ninjas and ninja capabilities. Relative Protein Value of Eggs Across Eorzea: Stunningly, amazingly, incredibly boring. Land the Wife of Your Dreams!!!: Please do not take this advice. Author is unmarried for good and obvious reason. The Scourge of Dancing Among Youth: Destruction of Ishgardian Youth Moral Fiber likely due to something else. Traveling in Hingashi and Beyond: Following this guide likely to get you laughed at abroad. The Offers of the Empire: No good goddamn reason to surrender to Garlemald, author can piss off. 101 Head-turning Styles for Chocbos: So embarrassing it was agreed that it constitutes animal abuse.

Plum and their wandering knight bodyguard, Lee! He never takes off his helmet and almost never speaks. He thinks that he's the knight and Plum is his faithful companion. They have fun together~ Plus some extra outfit drawings. I think it'll be like that, more or less... Cute and impractical...
