I can only imagine how hard it must’ve been to write him, especially now - but it was beyond wonderful. Truly. I haven’t stopped thinking or talking about it since. I’m already planning to reread it tonight or tomorrow, and then I’ll dive straight back into OMAM +

@bananaheathen.bsky.social your talent is unreal. To create something this moving and magical while navigating hardship in your personal life… it’s beyond inspiring. Thank you for giving us this piece of their world. You truly created something that heals. 💛 I utterly adore you!

At a time when this fandom is missing Liam so damn much, this story gave us back a version of him that feels so right. Soft and strong and funny and so Liam. And Zayn too. Written with such care and heart. I already know I’ll be rereading TIOMB just as much as OMAM. +

It’s no secret that Of Mates and Men is my forever favorite BOOK. I’m in love with the whole universe @bananaheathen.bsky.social created. But this new story The Island of Misfit Boys - the beautiful prequel about how Liam and Zayn met - feels like something even more. +

Chaos and Charm by sunnafternoon (AO3) Smells like light and dark colliding - sweet vanilla and lemon cupcakes, an electric spark of power, and a hint of danger. Because love between a superhero and a villain was never going to be ordinary.

the school of extraordinary Lovers 🖤 by stylinsoncity (AO3) Smells like ancient magic, lingering tension, and the bittersweet pull of childhood friends turned enemies. A bewitching blend of herbs, florals, and resins - equal parts dark & soft, just like their story.

Not a fanfic, but it all started with me making a 1D candle. 100% soy wax and natural oils.
