I mean it’s the same for YouTube. Children who hadn't watched a single video will click on thumbnails they don't know because they haven't watched it. I have, which is how I came to know some channels.

Okay. But then how do children get access to these shows for the first time if they haven't watched the shows yet? Therefore, they don't know the characters until they watch the show, so is it actually true that they don't click on thumbnails they don't know if they haven't watched anything?

Though in a way future generations are probably gonna forget or be unaware of this and think that these are fun books and films, not realizing the creator was “out there” when she was alive (i’m assuming she'd be dead if future generations came).

I still have a bitter taste on Harry Potter and its creator, JK Rowling. Used to like it but not anymore. My stance? Don't bother, HP ain't worth it. Besides even thinking about the book/film series and the world still makes no sense.

Sega Saturn on the other hand I did play as a child albeit the early 2010s, I played physically. Sonic Jam and Virtua Fighter+Kids. Might be a hot take but I also love the Sega Saturn menu. Idk why, but it feels really nice to work with, and it gives off as if we’re in a spaceship. And that’s it

I have never owned a Sega CD (or Mega CD since I’m in Ireland), but I really love the “menu” of Mega CD from Japan too, the music rocks, the background is just beautiful. Honestly I prefer that over the US/Europe ones. Saw the video on YouTube however.

In fact recently since N5 I’ve been using it to learn Japanese and it’s a great resource honestly. PSP is second place. The XMB menu is just perfect. PS3 is similar but I kinda prefer the PSP, probably nostalgia and also for the amount of features in that console idk it fits more

Oh god this is hard… gonna have to make this a thread because I have way too many favorites. The Wii is top tier. Idk how Nintendo did it but the menu and even the channels themselves are just perfect enough that it's user friendly but it gives so much personality, I even loved the Forecast Channel
