Under the painted mask, the first figure's eyebrows raised. "You're using some of the Sacred Seed in this one? Are you sure?"

The second was unfazed. "Yes, I'm sure. Why keep it to ourselves? Our mission is to spread the full depth of His blessings to the world, is it not? What better way to do that than to let the people experience Him at maximum potential?"

The first hmm'd noncommittally, but he didn't disapprove. The pair filled a few more darts before waddling off, their mission a success.

The journey back down Patient Zero's expanse would be a long one. Although one of them had expressed approval, both of them knew that if they didn't leave before Patient Zero erupted into a titanic, earth-quaking belch, their work would be pointless. If they were exposed to such a powerful burst of the Source's gluttony, anything they collected would likely be crushed under their own pleasure-drowned, uncontrollably fattening bulk.

"So sensitive... I never..." As if in a daze, Idyn ripped off what remnants of his suit he could reach, lard-laden paws freeing his new bulk from confinement. His growing body did the rest for him. The kitsune flopped out of his protective suit, huffing in clear pleasure. Already, he was fully immobile, far too heavy to take a step even if he still had any range of motion in his blubber-smothered legs. And he was only bloating bigger.

"T-too fast..." Boba stammered, taking a step back. "That's... that's not..." In their months of research, they had never seen the infection progress this quickly. Lipidomegaly had known stages: the initial hunger, bloating, continuous weight gain, immobility. They were supposed to happen over the course of days, even weeks. Idyn seemed to be blitzing through them in minutes.

"Hfffffffff..." Idyn moaned in bliss. He let himself lean back, gigantic belly flooding the space in front of him and growing faster with every passing moment. Boosted off the ground by his titanic, flabby rear, he was beginning to loom over Boba, his throne of sweaty asslard so huge that it made him taller sitting down than he had been standing up.

Ascending roll after roll was a challenge. But somehow, gasping for breath and sweating heavily, Boba pulled themselves farther and farther up Idyn's immensity, scaling the enormous kitsune. Alongside the thunderous belches from Idyn's maw above, crunching noises emanated from the buildings on either side of the road. Idyn's colossal, shapeless, rumbling bulk was knocking them down, turning them into rubble in its pursuit of endless growth. More ruins for the city's collection.

The growing pleasure helped take Boba's mind off things. They knew from their research and observations that lipidomegaly resulted in increased sensitivity to touch, but... they hadn't known what it would feel like firsthand. Rubbing their own flab against Idyn's wall of lard as they climbed was incredible. Rolls of fat slotted into Idyn's larger, deeper ones like they were meant to fit there, and each time their slabs of warm, heavy blubber smacked against Idyn's, it was difficult to restrain a gasp of pleasure. They dragged their bulk along the living mountain of kitsune's more and more slowly, half from their increasing ponderousness, but half from simple enjoyment. Maybe... maybe being infected wouldn't be so bad.
