I finally got him outside of my head. 1:1 scale Ruzader. I really wished for him to attend #PrismaticAxeventure so I did my own birthdurance to get him together this morning. He was thrilled to get passed around by the Ruzaders but a bit embarassed by his eau de fresh super glue scent. #CrimzonMuze

I've also been 3d modeling and printing my own little Ruzade at home!! So Ruze's plamo present and model making stream is such a cool surprise and coincidence since I was priming some Ruzader eyes this morning!! #Birthdurance #CrimzonMuze (lil ruzade draft prints)

Oopsies. I forgot to color this yellow part of the nape tuft in the print. I didn't add that part anymore because it'd look weird. Also I forgor the mini iron barrel was super hot and melted off this part of the head. But I was not about to resew the whole right ear so I just patched it. //=w=\\

Cut cut. Iron iron. I got influenced by @Piyopicco to get the Clover Cutwork Scissors 115. I dunno how I would have finished this without those scissors!! Also my first time using this heat resistant tape for pressing.

Color wip and printed. First time having something dye-sublimated and pressed on fabric. The lady at the shop was so nice! My go-to fabric shop was also selling this tiny-ass embroidery hoop lmao. Perfect Ruizader face size, but so little space to knot the thread at the back lol.

Creating the pattern with STSP in Blender was a lot longer learning curve for me than with Plushify but was so fun. Core memory of being unable to stop giggling at 4am when I tried the cloth simulation and the hair pieces started flying away. #wip

The hair part took me so long because I'm a Blender noob. I didn't know how to project from a 2d trace to make it wrap around the face. I think I figured it out. Sorta. TvT #wip

For my dummy Rui I'll just try embroidering the eyes so I didn't include the rest of the face features I traced from the official images. It's good to keep in the model for when I try to draft Ruibow hair pieces. #wip

Reworked my dummy Rui pattern. Hope it works better. This time it's made with the Seams to Sewing Pattern Blender add on since that makes more sense for my future workflow. I also tried annotating it for print (for personal use only since it's purposely copied off of an existing nui). #wip

I must have yapped a lot about nuis to my friends that two separate people linked me the nunu-chan pattern from Etsy. It's my first try at a nui from a bought pattern. I learned so much!! Sewing the face last makes so much more sense to keep the round shape.
