It's funny because he would never, ever get why that's funny. 1223952

ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 27/09/2026What did surprise me was Toy Story 5, which was outstanding and made me tear up in a way that I haven't done since Toy Story 2's "When Somebody Loves You". 000
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 27/09/2026I rarely thirst over characters, but there's certainly a couple who cause me to swoon. And I do that every time I see Fox's little black bottom lip. 100
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 27/09/2026I skimmed The Super Mario Galaxy movie again on the plane. I stand by my opinion that it's an extremely pretty nostalgic movie, but fairly lackluster plot. But whoa boy, whomever rigged and animated Fox McCloud certainly knew what they were doing. 💦 100
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 27/09/2026"We upgraded your room to a king bed." Oh that's nice. I guess it'll be just a little... Good lord, this bed is wider than it is long! 010
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 27/09/2026Well, it's a *work* trip, so I'm mostly going to be indoors in meeting rooms unless I can find a few hours to sneak out to do some sight seeing. 010
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 27/09/2026I've been through typhoon weather a couple of times over the years, so I'm not too worried. Mostly it just brings lots of rain, but will still keep an eye on the weather report. 210

ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 24/09/2026I just signed into my GOG account and was a little confused by the list of most-recent titles. This doesn't seem like the sort of games I would normally buy... 🤔 I mean, maybe Sapphire Safari? (It has *furry* "hot babes"). But I don't think I've even heard of *that* before today. 110
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 24/09/2026I think this thing can do about 360x360 pixels at around 10 fps. The colour isn't bad, but it's not going to win any animation awards. 000

ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 22/09/2026My body clearly wants to be a late-night person, but my work requires me to be a morning person. And I want to get at least 8 hours sleep somewhere in between. 100
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 22/09/2026I hate that brain fog and anxiety make me want to self-isolate. I want to be an interesting, engaging conversation partner and some days that's just *hard*. But I do agree that actively building friends and community is more important than ever, and I do appreciate that you push for that. 010
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 22/09/2026I thought you were a pretty awesome and authentic person to meet in person. I hate that as I've gotten older it feels like folks are busier, more stressed, more stuck in their own head and more isolated. 110

ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 21/09/2026But honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be something else entirely. e.g. sudden temperate change causes flushing, blood pressure drops, body reflex kicks in to raise blood pressure, vasoconstriction then cold extremities; or some stress mucking with your set-point. 010
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 21/09/2026In my case, my genetics are prone to mast-cell degranulation so a little trigger can easily dump a lot of histamine which temporarily overloads my body's ability to clear leading to brain-fog/somnolence until it passes. I often feel cold at those times. 120
ThatSillyLig @liglig.art · 21/09/2026I find I get particularly groggy when I'm having an allergic reaction to something I ate (usually passes in about an hour) or when it's particularly bad windy day in the Spring or Autumn, both usually coincide with migraine symptoms. I've not had paralysis, but I've just slept and slept and slept. 100
