On my way to @nsspain.bsky.social
The image shows a busy airport terminal with a circular seating area, large electronic screens displaying departure information and advertisements, and people sitting and moving around. A Starbucks is visible in the background, along with a modern architectural design featuring wooden and glass elements.

I have a suspect my result is given by: 1) not being native, and 2) having spent quite a lot of time in Cambridge and London. Not sure why it says New Jersey in particular, when from the map the highest correlation is in Maine/Massachusetts/New England in general, though 🤷🏼‍♂️
A dialect map shows how a person's speech patterns compare geographically across the United States. Areas colored in red indicate a closer match to the individual's dialect, while blue areas show less similarity. The map indicates that the person talks most like someone from the north east. The image displays survey results listing cities most and least similar to the respondent, with New York, Boston, and Portland being the most similar. Omaha, Kansas City, and Minneapolis are noted as the least similar. Below, it summarizes linguistic features that indicates which questions from the survey most contributed to the result, in particular pronouncing Mary/merry/marry differently, using sneakers as a general term for rubber soled sports shoes, pronouncing or not the ‘h’ in huge, humor, humongous, human, etc, and having the last vowel in “centaur” rhyming with “sore”and “more”, ie like “sen-tore”.

Damn. Goodbye Dr. Frank-N-Furter (and Pennywise, and Dr. Yevgeniy Petrov, and too many others to list). RIP Tim Curry.
A close-up of Tim Curry as Dr. Frank N Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show with dramatic makeup, featuring bold black eyeliner and bright red lipstick, curly dark hair, and a lascivious smile and look.

And so it ended like this for us, about fifteen minutes before maximum coverage 🤷🏼‍♂️ Really cool until then, though.
A dramatic sunset with the sun behind some low clouds is depicted with golden and orange hues in the sky. Silhouetted trees and buildings are visible in the foreground, while a tranquil field stretches below the sky.

What the fuck are the dems waiting for before calling the 25th??? That man is completely deranged, a threat to the whole world, a sociopath, and he can order a nuclear strike on top of that. What. The. Actual. Fuck.
A post on Truth Social by Donald Trump with a GenAI picture depicting Trump, clad in white cleric robes, performing a healing gesture over a hospitalized man (possibly Epstein?), while surrounded by various figures (a nurse, a soldier, a praying girl, a veteran,…). The background features an American flag, eagles, soldiers, and symbols of patriotism and hope, with the Statue of Liberty on the lower left part.

Not a bad way to spend 15 mins checking Mastodon and Bluesky while outside is raining (had to come near Chinatown, and suddenly felt the need for a boba 😁). Mango, pomelo, sago, and taro. Not bad at all. (Not sure though it qualifies as boba 🤔)
A cup of mango, pomelo, sago, and taro bubble tea sits on a metal table, featuring a logo with a panda. The drink appears creamy with visible taro pearls at the bottom. In the background, there are blue chairs and a simple interior setting.

A civilized nation. #Disability #Norway #Bergen
A wooden table in a public park, with attached seating, but with the left part hanging longer than the seating bench, so has to allow enough space to accommodate two people (one on each side) in wheelchairs.
The photo has been taken in a public park picnic zone, just outside Bergen, Norway.

Just finished reading “REPLAY: Memoir of an uprooted family” by @jmechner.bsky.social It’s beautiful. A work of art, and love. Do yourself a favor: buy it and read it (and while you’re at it, I also suggest getting the 30th ann. ed of “The Making of Prince of Persia”). #JordanMechner #Replay
A person is holding a book titled "REPLAY" by Jordan Mechner, which features a cover illustration depicting scenes of travel and family experiences. They discuss family history, referencing events like World War I and the impacts of Nazi Germany. Different accent colors in the panels are used to indicate the years in which each one is taking place (yellow for current events, blue for the 1990s or so, and brownish grey for 1938 or thereabouts).A person's lap is shown holding the back cover of the book "REPLAY" by Jordan Mechner against a backdrop of a cozy living space.
