lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025I hope you never have to deal with someone in your life having a disability that there aren’t accommodations for or are considered 110
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025You’re never gonna believe me when I tell you this but that account and mine are run by two separate people 🤯 110
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025I definitely just want to spread awareness to this oversight and hold them accountable to do better and hold themselves to higher standards in the future. 100
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Definitely didn’t say they’re the worst—just disappointed. I could have literally had a seizure due to this oversight. I understand concerts can and usually do have flashing lights, but they have taken the precaution before so not having it while the concert going was incredibly inconsiderate 210
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Thank you for taking the time to listen 💖 120
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025That’s not what they said, please read my reply to your comments- I hope it offers you some clarity 010
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025The problem is in particular with the flashing patterns they used was that they were so fast and used red/white, which are some of the worst colors for triggering photic epilepsy 270
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025For sure, I know that it’s an expected thing for concerts, but my issue is that it was an afterthought that they only pinned in the chat after viewers pointed it out. I don’t think I would have such an issue with it if they didn’t already have the assets for it/didn’t use it for the runs. 150
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Just because it’s a concert doesn’t mean that you can’t take precautions to make this event as inclusive as you claim to make the speedruns. I would hope that as a speedrunner you would have a shred of empathy for your viewers, but your curt response shows otherwise. 040
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025The fact that it was just a pinned comment after people in the chat pointed it out shows that we were just an afterthought, and that really sucks tbh. 130
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Hey so yes it’s a concert, but for an event that is supposedly “inclusive” and literally has the graphics already made for runs to warn those with epilepsy that there are flashing lights, I don’t find that as an excuse. 160
lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Good now apologize for not having a flashing lights warning for the concert and only making a pinned comment on the stream :) 2140

lightning bug studios ⚡️ @lightningbugstudio.bsky.social · 15/02/2025Protect your peace has been something I have been saying a lot lately. I’m worried (and extremely outraged) about all the things I can’t control, but being able to control who I surround myself with/doing the little things I enjoy has helped a lot. Protect your peace and help others to do the same. 294
