The older kids are running around, grabbing snacks when they’re hungry, and Vienna is crawling around, trying to keep up. Valerie is sitting in front of me, happily taking the bites of applesauce I give her.

We’ve had a quiet and peaceful day and now that the kids are up from their nap and dinner is in the slow cooker, we’re up in the playroom. I’m sitting on the floor next to the window seat with a snack tray next to me for the older kids and a bowl of applesauce for the babies.+

After collecting eggs, I stop in the garden and pick vegetables before going back inside and to the kitchen. I wash my hands and the ingredients before starting to make breakfast.

The kids are still sleeping when I wake up, so I get ready for the day and let the dogs out before heading to the chicken coop to feed the chickens and collect eggs.+

I laugh and look at the guys. “Apparently you’re strays. Have you had all your shots?” (Pierce) I chuckle as we get in the car. I pull out of the driveway. “Where to now?”

I nod and kiss her cheek. “Yes, we should. Thank you for the fruit and goodies.”

I snort. "It's a parade for my house." I look at Strider and tease, "And you couldn't come without Nyssa to protect you?"

Dariella Dobbin ---- * Roleplay * @lightningbugrp.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

"You brought a parade. Shall I start referring to you as a grand marshall?" I giggle and take the box. "Thank you, Drake." I lead the way to the kitchen and set the box down.

(Pierce) I nod. "Yeah, it kind of seems like he didn't want anyone to remember or be able to prove it, so no physical injuries. Although, a smarter man would have wrapped his junk."

The kids are still napping, so I’m curled up in the living room with my work notebook, writing up a menu for the fashion show and gala Effie & Arcadia’s bridal studio is holding soon.

I laugh as I read the message. 💬 those poor boys, unleashing them on the bees. I’d love some fruit. The neighbour’s pigs got into the orchard while I was away. Damn stupid weak fence.
