I think pressing on the scales to favour rural areas would solve a lot of problems. Democracy is not great just for the sake of democracy, it's because it cares for the most. So yes I do think having a 5% weaker vote, in exchange for the creature comforts of the cities is a reasonable policy.

The "electoral college" is necessary for "flyover states" to not be ignored in major policy decisions. If they weren't it would be civil war. But the US also has towns and cities without clean drinking water, so it would be better to put even more votes into rural areas. Regardless of alignment.

Found out my brother stole the presents that I mailed family And my family is more angry at me... Keep in mind, he is 25. Not like a 6yo that hasn't been taught, a grown ass man stealing Christmas presents This is why I don't go to family events. Including Newyears it seems.
