In honor of fall weather arriving I made a #funnybunny version of an old lunch doodle I made of pomni a few months ago!! #tadc #pomni #jax

Pomni stands wearing a sweater and a scarf with a mug of liquid held in one hand, smiling and looking upwards at Jax, who’s head is resting on top of her jester hat. Jax looks off to the side with an annoyed expression, although the slight upwards tilt of her mouth and blush on her cheeks makes it clear her annoyance isn’t real. She has her arms wrapped around Pomni’s shoulders, and Pomni has a hand up against Jax’s left arm.

Text reads:

Jax: “I’m cold.”

Pomni: “Aren’t you the one with fur?”

Jax: “Shut up.”

when it finally comes down to the wire who is it that you really want to save? #tadc #pomni #jax #funnybunny

Jax is colored a bright shade of red against a gray background; Pomni is in front of him (colored in dark gray) holding a gun. Jax is gripping her arm and the barrel of the gun itself to press it against his forehead. A line (indicative of a bullet) goes through his head behind him, striking two yellow silhouettes that each fall further backwards, both wearing bows (which are the only visible detail); Jax’s final (furthermost) yellow silhouette has pink bleeding out from the bow as well as hair swinging forward, and a huge splatter is coming out of the back of her head from the impact.

I really like the ideas I’ve seen about Jax’s abstraction hair showing her emotions—especially ones that she might be trying to hide :) [1/3] #tadc #funnybunny #jax #pomni

Pomni and Jax sit near each other on separate couches. Jax is looking off into the distance at Ragatha, who’s speaking to someone out of view. Pomni is looking at Jax.

Pomni stares at Jax’s post-unabstraction hair, in which the eyes are staring directly at her—she looks a bit uncomfortable.

Jax turns towards Pomni with a stressed smile. Text reads, “Watcha lookin’ at, Pompom? Something on my face?”

i like the idea that immediately after un abstracting jax is a total mess but after some help from caine things get better!! the abstraction remnants can’t be totally removed but rather integrated into her avatar…which becomes her hair #tadc #jax

A sketch depicting two versions of Jax—one version, captioned “immediately after un-abstracting” depicts her standing stiff and wide-eyed with corruption mottling her body. The second version, captioned “some time later” depicts a much happier version of Jax in an overall dress, with the remnants of her abstraction/corruption having become the hair on her head. An arrow in the center points between the two versions with a small sketch of Caine, with the text “Caine’s help!”

Three side-by-side sketches of Jax with hair resembling her abstracted form—from left to right she is staring, shocked, and smiling (in a stressed way)

time to catch up on my art backlog!! This is a doodle I made right after binging the series thru the finale.. i like the idea of a post-unabstraction jax situation that’s kind of still messy and not completely wholesome right away #tadc #jax #pomni #funnybunny (hope I’m using the right tags!!)
