Draft of a TV segment script my dad wrote in Vietnam 1968, the parentheticals I think indicates the footage being shown and is also kind of a weird accidental poem

Actual Kitty the dog had a chaotic BFF named Casey with whom she had a real "history will say they were roommates" relationship, this has been my lock screen for years

I made these little collages to demarcate the different guide sections and really pleased with the whole vibe, kind of want to make a set of riso or silkscreens based on them

Doing some collage-y texture stuff for field guide illustrations, I think it mostly works but unsure if adding The Sky totally works in the example here

Wrapping to the circles is...fine? But don't love it

One more rework of the layout, now with text wrapped around circular graphics

250

Ingrid Burrington @lifewinning.com · 14/07/2026

This is maybe an improvement? But doing more of a grid text wrap instead of wrapping to the circle like in the manhole covers section.

A rework of the layout posted previously with the utility markings in circle frames instead of on a block column.

Ingrid Burrington @lifewinning.com · 14/07/2026

then there's the problem of "I wrote too many words so there's a lot of dead space with the illustrations", which is clunky but I haven't come up with a better way to deal with it

Screenshot of a Networks of New York 2026 layout, the spraypaint markings are kind of awkwardly in a column to the left of the text? IDK

past me insisting that 4x6 pocket size was ideal because it would be "more like a field guide" is responsible for some of the more deranged layout choices I'm making here
