Consider me too critical, or too judgmental, if you like, but… I consider “who you follow” when deciding whether I want to follow you. If you follow somebody that I have absolutely no respect for and have blocked, I’m not going to follow you. I tired of seeing deplorable folks being supported.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day 😊 For those who send messages, I appreciate your support & kindness, and your presence here. I don’t generally respond to messages. Nor do I block folks that send friendly ones to me. Ty for the warm greeting this morning @maycondiasapvs.bsky.social

I’m back from getting my first shingles vaccine. Here’s a short story. When my dad was dying from kidney cancer on his dying bed he told me that this is nothing compared to how he suffered from shingles. If you’re on Medicare I advise you to get your shingles vaccine before it’s not free next year.🔄

Sadly, the web has become a wild and dangerous place. This👇is excellent (quite readable - not overly geeky) advice/info to help you stay safer. Definitely worth a read👇 Ty @codfather.bsky.social

I know that a lot of accounts block anyone that sends them an unsolicited DM. I don’t automatically block DM senders, but… I do not respond to unsolicited DMs Sorry, not sorry

I love seeing sites tell me to “Disable your ad blocker“ It’s nice to see solid evidence that my ad blocker is working. Those sites… if they insist on sending me ads… they will have to live without me. I can definitely live without them 😊

Saw a post from a clueless guy. Won’t be seeing any more from him.

“Subscribe to continue reading” When I see these words, my finger immediately jumps to the “close” icon. I will NEVER “Subscribe to continue reading”. If I knew how to preemptively block the posts that lead to these articles, I would block every single one. Argh!

Know how in real life, some people have odd attitudes… well, (surprise , surprise) some folks here do too😊 If someone that you have been following & have occasionally been interacting with, decides all of a sudden to block you… It’s most likely them, and not you. Don’t take it personally ❤️

Don’t we love it…. when accounts that we couldn’t care less about, block us, and then add us to one or more of their moderation lists, hoping to entice other accounts (that we also couldn’t care less about) to join them in blocking us? Seems like they are actually doing us a favor 🤷‍♂️😊
