My 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 was that the Didact would recover in his time following the firing of the ring. That his mind would be quelled by the Domain. But too late did we realize that the firing of the rings would damage the Domain. I tried to send word, but it went unread for a millennium.

I am NOT the grand architect of our collective demise. My work ensured that life would survive after Fabers rings destroyed everything the Flood feasted upon. Even I could not defeat the Flood.

Humanity was meant to carry the Mantle, as we once did. The Flood intervened, and our own hubris blinded us. I attempted to right a wrong, though it did not go completely to plan.
