90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 22/07/2026A neat little thing that @giantbomb.com has added: a timeline of history's most important video games. You can also go through and mark whether or not you have played each game, completed it, or saw everything in the game. There's a lot of stuff in the 80's or before due to how new everything was. 000
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 08/07/2026I talked to Mitch McConnell today. He kept talking about needing 1000 souls a day to stay alive. #WH40K 021
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 25/06/2026It is done. Got the platinum in Saros. Hell of a game. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 15/05/2026If you haven't heard, someone installed arcade cabinets for a game called "Operation Epic Furious: Strait to Hell" at the National Mall in DC. It's a satire of the current administration and it's also available online at www.epicfurious.com. 000
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 12/05/2026I updated my profile pic to the orb (shield orb I think?) from Descent's cover so I can manifest a remaster/remake of the first two games. I think @nightdivestudios.bsky.social would do a great job if they ever had the opportunity. 000
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 27/12/2025Borrowed Dominion from the library and introduced it to the family. It was the second time playing for me, but I got to try out a couple different configurations. Game is simple and fun as ever. Mom was eh on the game but my sister loved it. I see a purchase in the near future. 020
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 25/08/2025Lost Eden for the PC. It was a point-and-click adventure game with 3D pre-rendered backgrounds about dinosaurs and humans coexisting. There were lots of unsettling moments in the game that scared me, and partial credit goes to the amazing soundtrack of Stephane Picq. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 14/03/2025I didn't get to see the blood moon last night, but I know that for a brief time all nonbasic lands now produced only red mana. IYKYK #magicthegathering 0190
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 13/03/2025Monster Hunter: Wilds is a good video game. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 09/02/2025Four albums that serve as an introduction to my taste. Four superb albums in their respective genres: - Symphony X - Underworld (Metal) - Carpenter Brut - Trilogy (Synthwave) - Marcy Playground - Marcy Playground (90's alt) - Hybrid - I Choose Noise (Electronic) 030
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 03/02/2025My kid playing Bugsnax: "This one [Sandopede] is happy and this one [Sub Sandopede] is sad." Me, to my wife: "Yeah well, I guess if I was the front of a human centipede I would be more happy than one that's in the middle or back." 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 30/01/2025This looks a little different than the final screen I got in my MGS playthrough. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 19/01/2025Day 23 - First Pre-Order The first game I remember pre-ordering was probably Guitar Hero II. It was in my first year of college and I got my copy early because my local store was rad (Warpzone Video Games ftw). I played it with my door open in the dorms and was the coolest guy there. Lol 031
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 06/01/2025Day 22 - Favorite In-Game Quote "I said my sword was a tool of justice. Not used in anger. Not used for vengeance. But now... Now I'm not so sure. And besides, this isn't my sword." - Raiden, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Cheesy, but in the moment of the game with context, it fuckin' rips. 020
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 06/01/2025Day 21 - Best Character Customization I think the last game that had an in-depth CC that I played was Dragon's Dogma II, and it will be hard to top that one. CP2077 and BG3 get honorable mentions for their genital and chest customization. 030
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 06/01/2025Time to do more of these since I missed a bunch! Day 18 - Worst Mini Game I would say that there's probably a Mario Party one that takes the cake, but I've only ever played one or two of those and don't remember them enough. The real answer has to be Blitzball. Ridiculously hard and confusing. 030
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 29/12/2024Day 16 - Best Plot Twist Hitman: Blood Money Still one of my favorite endings. Agent 47 is seemingly dead at the end of the game as credits roll, but foreshadowing from an earlier mission hints that he's only incapacitated. What follows is glorious and one of my favorite twists in games. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 24/12/2024Day 13 - Best Voice Acting The Last of Us. The performances in this game are a high watermark for the industry - it's like watching a post-apocalyptic movie. That ending still hits the right notes and I'm glad they largely left it untouched for the TV series. Just an all-timer. 020
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Day 12 - Most Annoying Character Navi and Ashley Graham are both popular choices, but for some reason this guy from F.E.A.R. seems to stick out in my memory. 000
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Day 10 - Underrated Game Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War Do you like the 40K universe? Well, this is a 4X game that is heavily combat focused so it feels like an RTS, but turn based. Very difficult, but rewarding as each faction plays quite differently. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 21/12/2024I was never really an RPG guy growing up but Dark Cloud 2 had enough similarities to another game I loved - Ocarina Of Time - that the demo got its hooks in me and got me to buy it. It's still one of my favorites. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 13/12/2024Day 3 - Hardest Boss Fight This one has to be Consort Radahn from Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. I think anyone that attempted to fight him would agree. Took me several sessions trying different things until I found a good strategy and collected more upgrades. 000
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 11/12/2024Day 1: Your First Video Game Descent II As I explained in my other thread I had played other games before this, but Descent II was the earliest game I remember owning. I got it as a gift after I went to take some standardized test as a kid. 000
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 11/12/2024Found this from another user. Seems fun and I don't require any interaction to post so I figured I would do it. Will quote reply for each day's answer. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 01/12/2024This guy from the tabletop game Splendor looks like the model they used for Max Payne in Max Payne 2. 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 26/11/2024Need specific cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket? Get your 3 year-old to pick and open your pack and they will get exactly the card you want - even two variants of it! I literally told him to get a Mewtwo right before opening and I couldn't believe it. #pokemontcgpocket 120
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 21/11/2024I'm currently in the process of checking if there's anything worth saving from my Twitter account before I delete it. I accidentally found the "lists you're on" feature and couldn't be more proud of where people put me in. "Bootlicking" commie ftw! 🤣 000
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 18/11/2024Introduce yourself with four games. It's hard to pick just 4 so I tried to choose games that capture different tastes I have (not even close to the breadth of games I enjoy). These are all special to me for very different reasons. 000
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 11/11/2024I'm on Pokémon TCG Pocket if you would like to add me 010
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 11/11/2024I just started this game and this was pretty rad. It had a whole cutscene when I pulled it showing the full art of all the other Pokémon in the scene. 120
90's PC Game Enjoyer @lienpockets.bsky.social · 11/11/2024Some football guy who has a statue of himself in front of the courthouse. Other than that, being a pit stop for truckers. 000
