We don't need a movie about that, we live it already.

Unfortunately, you're demonstrating that you're in that group of assholes right now. There's no reason to be so hostile and angry.

Yep, It's all the American social media sites that are controlled by the US government right now. It's a concerted effort to destabilize Canada.

Yep. My only hope is that other Canadians continue to see through this as well.

You are outputting some confusing messaging here. Are you attacking me for attacking the thing you're also attacking? Does that not make me your ally? Why attack me then?

benefits take a back seat during these times. It's an unfortunate reality of the situation caused by the very people that these separatists want to join.

I hope so too. Although I do think during current times some things are only going to get worse. The signs currently point to our country preparing a potential attack, by investing in factory lines focused on self sustaining and increasing military spending. Unfortunately, social needs and

Which is why again I push you to look for local representation, don't look for a specific party. Find a representative that speaks for you and vote for them. That's the only way to make meaningful change. I hope you can find someone that represents your needs properly.

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

I think there are always issues to fight for, and each province will handle things differently too. The problem is the people calling for separation. This only serves the United States. Make sure you're voting for local representatives who support your needs. Do not vote win elections based on PM

Canada is under attack from the USA right nwo on social media. Accounts like this show up everyday spreading hate and misinformation. Thankfully we're one of the most educated countries on the planet and are resilient to this, but it's isnane seeing this from one of our closest allies.

Daredevil Born Again S2 trailer and Wonderman whoel season released in one night? Big dubs. DD S1 was already too close to home with it's messaging on corrupt politicians, but S2 feels like it will punch right in the gut. Also first two eps of Wonderman = 👌

I don't see him on a day-to-day basis since I don't live in California, but whenever I did see him in any videos that popped up on my news feed, I always had an off feeling about him. The things he said right felt too deliberate, calculated, not genuine.

"a new precedent" Guess he's forgetting that US senators sent money to the truck protesters in Ottawa in an effort to stir divide in Canada and try to create a similar political atmosphere up here. What a hypocrite. This guy is the worst ambassador I've ever seen.

I've been making Star Citizen videos on my channel for 5 years, but decided to switch it up. Made a quick video on Clair Obscur, not expecting it to do well though since my audience is SC. Still feels good to make what I want and not be stuck to a game though. youtu.be/Lb4fTmAnIw8

I Hate Turn Based Games... But Clair Obscur Did It RIGHT!

If anyone needs some relaxing background sounds or just like having videos playing while you do stuff or sleep, I started a new channel with no-commentary-full-playthroughs of relaxing and atmospheric gameplay. I made em long too, 10 hour vids 🍃 youtube.com/@LeafyLongplays

So I am relatively naive in this area: How DO, say, game journalist/news outlets make money? I presume just ad money? Sponsored articles? With LLMs scraping these sites does that take away from the profit?

220

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 02/05/2025

While there is one change I would make... Thunderbolts was great. with Daredevil and now this, Marvel is back baby!

020

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

Yeah, i'm making a video on Clair Obscur. It's too good not to

030

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

No that's just for a few particular songs. Again, I think you might be thinking this is bigger than it is. Like the points I'm taking off are max 5 out of 100 for the issues i have.

000

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

So good. I hate turn based games, but this blends real time elements in so well I'm enjoying it.

020

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

But I need to state for a 4th time: it is good. Multiple times I have commented how good it is while playing

000

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

But it feels more of "here are songs, slot them in" in a lot of places, rather than being adaptive to the world. Subjectively, I also don't usually like JRPG sound tracks, so there's also that. But again, the music is good, it's just some very small things that show a lesser experience with games

200

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

Gommage cutscene it cut sour randomly, but that's just awkward mixing, it also got WAY too loud during that scene too. The Meadows song got a little annoying after hearing it loop like 30 times lol. It's also relatively one dimensional so far, not adapting to the game. It IS a great sound track

100

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

I mean it's good, as a soundtrack I love it overall. But it is noticeably the weakest part of the game. The mixing is awkward and it doesn't fit the tone half the time. So this makes sense to find out.

130

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

I'm getting Star Ocean Til The End Of Time vibes with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

030

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

IMO the new Oblivion remake missed the mark on the visuals. It looks dead and generic in comparison. The old game has a fantastical feeling to it in part to its whimsical visual choices. The entire remake should have looked like the first screen, but instead it looks like the second

130

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 18/04/2025

Longest render I have ever done Video is just oevr 20 hours long. Have to run it while I go to bed, please send me goodluck that nothing goes wrong overnight in this render lol

Naw they even made Blake look like JD Vance with the eyeliner. This is a brave new approach for Marvel and I'm absolutely here for it. Good sign for the future of the MCU. Telling real stories.

020

LiefX @liefx.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Gawt DAMN Daredevil season finale. Marvel is NOT pulling punches. This is a wonderful sign of the future of the MCU. This was a direct commentary on the state of America, even making Blake look as punchable as JD Vance.

Amen. I haven't checked to see if the writers or directors were different on this one but everything was so tight. The character depth, emotional threads, dialogue, lighting, framing, etc etc etc. This, as you said, hit the old stride.
