The highlighted first few words of this snippet from royal.gov.uk does not appear in other announcements of state visits.
On advice of His Majesty’s Government, and at the invitation of The President of the United States, The King and Queen will undertake a State Visit to the United States of America. Their Majesties’ programme will celebrate the historic connections and the modern bilateral relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States, marking the 250th anniversary of American Independence.

The King will then continue to Bermuda to undertake His Majesty’s first Royal Visit as Monarch to a British Overseas Territory.

Winston Churchill provides a good example of ... self-conscious auditing. During world war two, Churchill made the terrible discovery that Singapore was much more vulnerable to a Japanese land invasion than he first thought. Reflecting on this unexpected discovery, Churchill commented in his history of the war, “I ought to have known. My advisers ought to have known, and I ought to have been told, and I ought to have asked”. Churchill’s audit consisted of four questions:
Why didn’t I know?
Why didn’t my advisers know?
Why wasn’t I told?
Why didn’t I ask?”

Always brilliant.
Someone laughed at that point, though a better joke was to come: the Conservatives will introduce a “meritocracy test” to ensure that people don’t get jobs that they’re unqualified for. Say what you like about Badenoch’s time as Tory leader, you can’t question her commitment to supplying her own punchlines.

I give to you Shabana Mahmood's Home Office.
Two letters to the Guardian about new rules for dual national UK citizens:
Why does it cost £94.50 to process a paper passport, but £589 for a digital document to prove I am British? It sounds like profiteering.
Dr Michael Paraskos
London

I write regarding the appalling UK entry rules for dual nationals, to be introduced within the next 10 days. It is completely disingenuous of the UK Home office to claim that this “requirement ... is the same approach taken by other countries, including the United States, Canada and Australia.” The cost of the equivalent Canadian special authorization to allow dual citizens to board their flight with a valid non-Canadian passport is C$7. This translates to just under £4. This is hardly comparable with or “the same” as the UK equivalent cost of £589, which is manifestly nothing less than an unjustifiable money grab.

The Lascelles Principles might indicate he could potentially refuse. Either way would be a *political* decision for him to make and I’d argue that precedence dictates no government should put the monarch into that position.
Key situations for potential refusal include:
A viable alternative exists: If the Prime Minister has lost the confidence of the House but another leader could form a government, the King might refuse to dissolve and instead invite that leader to form a government.
The Parliament is not yet obsolete: If the current Parliament is still effectively functioning, a premature election requested for selfish political gain rather than necessity might be refused.
National Interest/Crisis: If a general election would cause severe damage to the national economy or stability.

To the Trumps, Rubios, Badenochs and Farages of this world, this is from the address to the nation of George VI at the outbreak of WWII.
We have been forced into a conflict and we are called with our allies to meet a challenge of a principle which if it were to prevail would be fateful to any civilized order in the world. It is a principle which permits the state of the selfish pursuit of power, to disregard its treaties and its solemn pledges, which sanction the use of force against the security and independence of other states. Such a principle, stripped of all disguise the primitive doctrine of might and right and if this principle were established throughout the world, the freedom of our own Empire and of the whole British Commonwealth of nations would be in danger. But far more than this the peoples of the world would be kept in bondage of fear and all hopes of peace and of the security of justice and liberty of nations would be ended.

Ah yes...

Yes, Germany leaving the EU (a hypothetical "Dexit") would require changes to its constitution, the Basic Law, because Article 23 anchors Germany's commitment to European integration, meaning a formal constitutional amendment (requiring a two-thirds parliamentary majority) would be necessary to allow withdrawal, as simply using executive power would be unconstitutional. While EU law allows for leaving via Article 50 TEU, Germany must follow its own constitutional steps first, including potentially creating mechanisms for referendums, which the current constitution largely restricts

How the process works
Royal Prerogative: Unlike some hereditary peerages that require an Act of Parliament to remove, the title of Prince is typically granted through Letters Patent and can be removed under the royal prerogative.
Monarch's Authority: The monarch, usually acting on ministerial advice, can issue new Letters Patent to alter or revoke a royal title. The removal process for Prince Andrew was confirmed by Buckingham Palace to have been "initiated" by King Charles.
