I was thinking of making my own art for some of those mystery tarot spread envelopes And I just had the idea to make them like Bella Sara cards… play with my horsie designs

Crodlus and Jhakars Some Dark Sun critters #licantaurarts #ocs

A pencil sketch of a Dark Sun scene. A version of Kali is riding on the back of a crodlu, a large bipedal beaked reptile that looks a little like a plucked chicken. A really large chicken. Two spears are strapped to the crodlu's saddle.

A jhakar follows behind, a bulldog-like reptile with a sail on its back, much smaller than the crodlu. The three are set against a simple desert backdrop with silhouetted mesas and a large, tired sun behind them.

Yes she feels appreciated Every day is #dragonappreciationday tbh [ #ocs | #dragon ]

A colored drawing of Lucky in her gold-colored dragon form, laying down with eyes closed and Hero snuggled against her side, one eye open as he smiles at her

Notebook cover doodles :] #ocs #licantaurarts

A small light blue notebook with black tabs at the top and a black sharpie drawing on the cover of Kali and Ninmi with star and scale patterns around the text “Black and Blue”

Once again puts a face on the faceless character I replayed grand inquisitor again :]

A colored pencil drawing of AFGNCAAP (the irony of which is not lost on the artist) holding Dalboz in his lamp.

AFGNCAAP in this case is not particularly ageless or faceless, has long hair tied in a high ponytail, and is wearing a leather jacket and work boots. They have a sword on one hip, and a bag on the other.

Dalboz is saying, “That was fun! Pointless, but fun.”

We point to the backrooms as examples of liminal space but we need to appreciate one of the og examples: pre-rendered backgrounds from 90s/ early 2000s point and click adventure games

Thinking about them… One of my favorite drawings of Hero and Kali honestly #ocs

Two colored illustrations of two elf-like characters hugging. In the first Hero (with red hair) is hugging the head and kissing the cheek of Kali (with brown hair) who is making a lightheartedly annoyed face at him. In the second Kali is hugging Hero so he has to bend to match their height as they both laugh.

That's a wrap! I even managed to hit the 100 attacks threshold this year! #artfight2026 #teamcomedy #licantaurarts

Five Art Fight Attacks:
-A young Japanese-American girl in a long-sleeve pink shirt and long dark hair posing with a smug smile, holding her phone with a photo of a cat visible on the screen
-A couple seated in a castle room with a moon in a window, the lady seated on a padded bench in a long gold dress and dark hair in a loose bun. She's holding a wine glass and propping her chin in her palm as she looks at her partner. The gentleman is seated on the floor beside her and smiling up at her, one arm hooked around her leg and also holding a wine glass. He's wearing princely clothes and has long pink hair.
-A raptor lady with peacock-patterned feathers and locs, smiling and waving
-A little celestial goat prince with moon emblems and a long robe with a maroon cloak
-A blue-haired serpentine lady with a hand resting over a false eye, her real eye (disguised as eyebrows when closed) open above the false one

Five Art Fight Attacks:
-A couple in a park in Victorian attire, one sitting on a decorative iron bench and reading an entry on a moth in a book, the other standing nearby with the same moth on her hand
-A lady with her dark hair done in two buns, wearing black and purple clothing and bright gold jewelry, dramatically lit from below
-A white unicorn with some black spotting and golden horn and ornaments, standing amid rose bushes and a marble column statue in a dark garden. She is lit by glittering pink butterflies, and her eyes are obscured by a wreath of thorny roses.
-Two portraits of the same white-haired and red-scaled siren character, one in her 'land form' using forearm crutches and braces, the other in her 'water form' with a long red tail
-A young girl with short dark hair, resting her chin on the backs of her hands and smiling. Her clothes and accessories are all in lesbian flag colors, and she wears a jersey-style tank top with #1 on it

Four Art Fight Attacks:
-A butch oc with short dirty blonde hair, glasses, and a brightly patterned shirt layered over a longsleeve black shirt and jeans
-An angler fish fishsona with long white hair, dark shorts and hoodie, red sneakers, and a fish tail, floating on her back. Her smile shows off sharp teeth
-A smiling bird man with a checkered shirt, blue tie and vest, ombre hair, and a trimmed cape. Blue feathers are visible around a dark beak.
-A smiling man with freckles and long rusty red hair tied back with a dark bow, wearing a tie, collared shirt, and sweater vest with a rabbit pin. He's seated in a chair with his cane resting across his knees and holding a teacup. The hand with the cup is missing the pinkie and ring finger

The Dragon loves the Unicorn [ #art | #ocs ]

A digitally colored pencil sketch with two full body drawings and two bust drawings. One pair is of Hero with unicorn features and a neutral expression. He has a long red garment with gold trim, white unicorn ears, tail, and legs with golden hooves, and a white horn from a star shaped spot on his forehead. The other pair is of Lucky with a slightly more dragonish design, including her wings and full draconic legs. She has a white and gold dress, gold decorations on her horns, and is looking at the corresponding drawings of Hero with a smitten expression.

Juniper Padochre, a dashing highwayman with a magic hat and a love of women, money, and horses [ #licantaurarts | #oc | #satyr ]

A character reference sheet for Juniper, a satyr highwayman with a half-elf disguise. There are two full body colored portraits, one without her hat and showing her satyr features including legs, horns, long ears, and yellow goat eyes. The other includes her tricorne hat, providing a half-elf appearance- she also has a bandit’s mask and a rapier. In both she is dressed in masculine 1700s style clothing including coats, breeches, and riding boots. Surrounding the portraits are three uncolored sketches, detailing her horn shape, an additional face covering for robbery, and a note about buttons on the cuff of her breeches.

My controversial opinion is that I don’t like patterned sprayed edges but I really like solid color sprayed edges I painted over the pre-printed pages of one book I got to make them solid black because I didn’t like the designs haha

this is what artfight feels like to me

edited “they don’t know i’m (blank)” meme showing people dancing at a party with a guy in the corner holding a cup and a party hat. i’ve edited it so that he’s smiling mischievously, standing at a desk with a drawing tablet and a pen in his other hand. the text next to him says “they don’t know i’m drawing their ocs”

I admit I am more particular about cozy fantasy I can’t just pick up an go with them most times, but I am discovering that I don’t enjoy cozy fantasy that leans into the comedy side of things. I enjoy it when it leans into I guess “mundane sincerity”

Flintlock fantasy is under appreciated I feel.

I’m really nervous about this zine event tomorrow (the mortifying ordeal of being known, et cetera) - I’m proud of the finished project but there’s also the worry of “what if I don’t fit in/they don’t like it” Still, I got a nice stash freshly folded!
