I just had a Zoom meeting where we tried out the recording, and the automatic transcription was hilarious as it thought we were talking English instead of Austrian colloquial German - my colleague said "es is für immer und ewig", and Zoom says "Sit for email and epic" :-D

Angesichts der Qualität von LLM frag ich mich, warum die Grammatikprüfung von Microsoft Word immer schlechter wird und meistens Falsches vorschlägt. Beispiel 1: "Die Kinder aber fragen nach der Wahrheit." (Jeannie Ebner). Word konstatiert einen möglichen "Wortauswahlfehler" und schlägt "Fragen" vor.

When utilized in literature review, LLMs consistently 1. fail to mention female authors in female-led literatures, 2. insist that men are more influential or more heavily cited when this is contradicted by objective citation counts, and 3. attribute women’s work to hallucinated male scholars.
