For someone to get an automatic permanent ban they had to bet on a game they were an active participant in. It's worded that way to include managers and umpires in addition to the players.

I've seen a few Avengers vs. Nefaria and Avengers vs. Ultron commissions, but surprisingly few Avengers vs. Kang commissions by Byrne. These are what I consider to be the three big "home grown" avengers villains. You could also throw in the Grim Reaper, Korvac and the Collector, I suppose.

Byrne admitted on his message board that Shooter wasn't happy with the last page and got Cockrum to redo it (he also did a lot of covers at that time) and Byrne admits that Cockrum's page worked better for what Shooter wanted.

That looks more like a Chicago Packers jersey. They were the blue & orange Packers for a year before becoming the blue & gold Zephyrs in 1962.

As in East plays only East (and New York) and West plays only West (and New York)? I'm curious as to why Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, St. Louis and St. Paul all dropped out at such a late date. I suppose the majority went as a group?

He missed 8 minutes that entire season because he was ejected from one game for fighting. Otherwise he averaged 48.5 minutes a game (he played 99.79% of the minutes in 1961-62!). All while traveling by train, bus and "puddle jumper" airplane. So much for "load management."

I was really disappointed that the Suns didn't get Williams when the Blazers did (in 1989). He was always a rugged, dependable rebounder and defender who could also score and was a great leader.

(2) Wilt's ability to play at such a high level for 48 minutes a night is the possibly most impressive thing.

Part of it was because Wilt played 48 minutes a game. He scored 37.4 points per 36 minutes. Other noteable career highs - Embiid 37.2, Jordan 37.1, Harden 35.4, Bryant 35.4, Antetokounmpo 34.9, Westbrook 32.9, Gervin 32.6, Doncic 32.5, Lillard 32.2, Curry 32.0, King 31.6, Barry 31.5, Beal 31.5
