"Waves" (2016). Not a fluid simulation. Just sine waves affecting the Y-position of elements moving along X. Simple rules, complex motion. Exhibited at my solo show 'Coding Life' and the PLUGIN section at Contemporary Istanbul. Full doc: www.liaworks.com/theprojects/... #2021

Our Rowboat tool is about instantly seeing what's in a dataset, so we added a Chrome Extension that lets you open random datasets from all over the internet. Right click, poof! 0.2 seconds later we see what this dataset actually looks like. No workspace to set up, no waiting for the app, no db.

Sashiko bootloader.art/generator/123 some are quick to reveal the final state, some take a bit longer...

and yes, since you were asking: the code is rather complicated, some flood fill algorithm is involved, the pattern is inspired by the Japanese way of repairing cloth (Sachiko) and in general i am very proud of this piece 😀 33 tez bootloader.art/generator/123
