I can't stand the FF7 dooming anymore. Yes, the marketing kinda sucks, and the social media reporting around it makes it even worse. I'm tapped out until TGA and April.

It’s hard not to feel that a few more back to basics game modes and a fully fleshed out Podracing section would have made for an all-round more enjoyable experience. Our Star Wars: Galactic Racer review: www.respec.net/review/241-star-wars…

We revisited Octopath Traveler I and II on Switch 2 to see how the new ports look and feel alongside the existing versions on PS5, PS4, PC, Switch, and more. They are solid Switch 2 versions, but don't justify new purchases for existing owners with no save transfer: www.rpgsite.net/feature/2090...

Wrote about my feelings on Sora with an AR-15. I lament the decline of publishers Giving A Shit about brand image, and how this crossover is a quiet admission that KH's crossover magic no longer holds the lustre it once did in our post-MCU, Fortnite world: www.respec.net/feature/224-...

The problem with “touching grass” or “get a job” as insults is they’re severely outdated. You live an offline-enough life & eventually you realise there is not much difference with the nonsense you see online. Everyone is enslaved to fake problems. The norm is a cracked reality.

I better see every single one of these people who had dooming meltdowns real footage of themselves cheesing through Revelation on April 8th, show me how easy the game is, even with the same-level feature toggled on, let's see it!

CHL 九 @lianthuss.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

The fact that I saw thousands of people get super dramatic over Revelation's difficulty for 48h straight when none have played the damn thing cos it's not out for 7 months 😭😂 Mind you we literally had 50+ previews and NONE of them said anything about the battles being easy lol

I see a lot of people clamour "it should've been 1:1" "they should've done it like E33 aka Square's PS1 solution" "should've been turn-based" and it makes me laugh Try saying all of these to FF fans 20 years ago, they would've slapped the shit out of you on the forums

What I will say re: criticisms on FF7R as a trilogy: For years, fans wished, demanded, and whined for a remake that *matches Advent Children’s visual prowess and scale.* That is exactly what we got for better or worse. It could have been two entries, but that makes no sense.

Pikachu made it to the weekend! 💤 Inspired by Pocket Pikachu, my very first vpet #pixelart #ドット絵 #pokemon

Cute pixel art of a row of Pikachu: starts on the left sleeping, then holding a cup of hot beverage, walking, sitting and reading, flopped tired on the floor, sleeping again. Below it is pixel font reading "all in a day's work..."
