Hi everyone. I wanted to say that I really don't know what my next video will be, or when it will come out, but rest assured that I am working every day toward eventually figuring that out. In the meantime, you won’t be hearing from me very much. I’ll be okay, I just need to reassess some things.

I've talked at length about my struggles with perfectionism in my videos, as well as the pressure to outdo myself, but what I haven't accepted until now is that a lot of this stems largely from my own habits and behaviour, which has only been exacerbated by existing and being perceived on the internet for the vast majority of my teenage years and adult life. Furthermore, I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder in 2015, and although I've come a long way since then, I still have an extremely unhealthy relationship with myself, my work, and my general, day-to-day lifestyle, made worse by the black-and-white, algorithmic, engagement-driven nature of the internet today, and I've let it negatively affect me for far too long. I kept feeling like I needed to consider so many opinions when writing my videos, and avoid writing a certain way so as not to upset a certain amount of people, but that has only prevented me from writing exactly what I want to write. It really is true that you can't please everyone, nor should you ever try to.

Thankfully, this has reminded me that the very thing people like about my videos is that I speak solely from the heart, and although I am very bad at accepting compliments - the good news is that I do, finally, genuinely believe that, and I should never let myself be swayed from writing that way.

In the past, I've had therapy to unlearn some of these habits, specifically cognitive behavioural therapy. Just over the past couple of years, I was in therapy again for things I left unresolved from childhood. That's where I'll be in the meantime, in the hopes of finding answers and a more positive opinion of myself. Moving forward, I hope to solely focus on making videos and maintaining a more positive balance between my work, my relationship with myself, and the people in my life.

Dude I completely forgot Control Resonant was also in September. If I bought all of these games within the month I'd be out almost 400 bucks. And I'm always there for a new Remedy game. I am sad.

My brother contributed animation to this! I'm so proud of him. The diligence it takes to put together even a few seconds of animation by yourself cannot be understated, and all of the artists did a phenomenal job here.

Gaming has become so disgustingly unaffordable in Canada thanks to a combination of the shite value of our dollar, and the trade war in America. It's bleak. RetroAchievements has been wonderful in that regard, though, because I can just simply replay everything I own with new challenges

Games are so expensive in Canada now that I'm actually postponing my purchase of Fire Emblem (a game I've been looking forward to for years) until I've finished The Witcher 3. Plus, I know I'll be buying Zelda and Grand Theft Auto, so I'll be down over $200 CAD when November rolls around.

If you're talking purely turn-based: Chrono Trigger. I recommend it to everyone that wants to play more of them. Paced extremely well, battle system rocks, story is unbelievably good - you can't go wrong.

Signed in on my old 360 for the final time before I switched over to my jtagged one. This dashboard is bleak. What used to be a central hub and a portal into long Halo and COD nights is now just a husk. No storefront, either, it's just promoting the Series X and S.
