Today— May 10 —marks the anniversary of the destruction of the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, a pioneering clinic and library of human sexuality. Nazis looted and publicly burned its research, records and artifacts to bury evidence of trans/queer existence. The parallels today are unmistakable.

The months leading up to World War II were some of the most terrible months in the life of Leonard and Virginia Woolf, as they "helplessly and hopelessly" watched events unfold. Once again, Americans are shocked by how gay the thanksgiving day parade is. These performances were incredible. 💜
