Same offshore security (European servers) for data privacy.

Small update - It’s been a busy summer. The side gig I do over summer became all consuming. Progress is progressing though, and I realized I needed a code fork. Liasion.guru will be “adult” focused, Connexion.guru will be more vanilla (but points to the same landing page for now).

When I lived in NC, I had an unhealthy relationship with their chicken wings. When they were fresh … 👨‍🍳💋 (And they had such a high turn over they were rarely sitting long)

Yeah, but we’re adults now and can appreciate the caramel undertones that brown sugar brings that pairs well with banana.🍌

Nope - needs a sprinkling of brown sugar.

(Wow, that is a buzzword compliant statement 🤣) Anyway, a couple of minor tweaks, and this could be appropriate for organizations managing their activist base in a secure setting. The system structure, and choice to deploy in the EU (under GDPR guidelines) rather than the US reinforces this.

As I evolve this project, I had very specific goals and design criteria focused on data privacy and contact management for individuals that need a holistic view of their client base and a communication strategy that enhances engagement. This also applies to grassroots community organizers.

Have been expanding my ‘Following’ list. Looks like I’m going to have to add handling for Australia and Canada sooner rather than later. In the US my test addresses are McDonald’s. I’ll probably do the same for Australia, but in Canada would Timmy’s be a better option for national address coverage?

Signup process mostly done. 4 Tab process - User Details/Contact, a ToS Agreement, redirection to Payment Processor, and finally set your password. Need to tidy up some UI elements, but everything needed is in place. This will allow multi-tenant (multiuser) testing to mov forward. Getting closer.

Initial testing is US focused, but Canada (désolé Québec, l'anglais seulement pour l'instant), Australia, and UK will be added before release. Other countries/regions will come online as I add in foreign language support.

Frontend login/account creation mostly done. Will be integrating into QuickBooks for payment processing - they handle subscriptions, and a wide variety of payment methods. This is tedious, but I'm trying to make it as painless and secure as possible.

Login framework mostly in place. One step closer to multi-tenant.

No updates for awhile. Been working on an interface framework. The challenge of making a standalone application "multi tenant" (each user with a separate database), and the complexity that a multiuser login entails is interesting. Making sure it will integrate with a payment processor is fun too.

No real updates at the moment. Been experimenting with layout frameworks ... Fluent vs Semantic vs BSLib. Ideally Fluent plus Rhino would be the best solution, but its overkill - maybe later, but for now I'm going to stick with Bootstrap using the bslib library. Is that all Greek? It's all good.

Images are from an iPhone in landscape mode. Looks good in portrait as well. Better on a laptop/tablet.

The basic backend is tested and working well. Time to focus on design and UI/UX. Sketched out and being implemented using a design framework I haven’t used before … so there is a learning curve, but it has promise.

Font sizes aren't an exact match, and Google Docs loses the background coloring (working on it) but the text, images and general formatting come through just fine. Using Word and GDocs leverages tools people already have and use - and you can get as fancy as you want with them.

Another step closer - mail merging with template files. CRM without the ability to manage email blasts (especially after we've gone to the trouble of identifying the clients) is pointless. I didn't reinvent the editor to create templates, this is HTML based created from Word or Google Doc files.

CRM systems need address and contact information to work with ... (Note: Names are fake, and if you were to rock up to one of these addresses you could order a Happy Meal).

Portrait and landscape views on a cellphone need some tweaking but are surprisingly good, and reasonably responsive given the servers are in Europe.

Pulling things together. Its not pretty, but I'm working on backend not aesthetics at the moment. This is now accessible via a URL instead of locally.

Planning a visit to Washington DC, and your heat map shows a lot of interest in New York? Maybe it's worthwhile putting them back to back - but what about what's going on in Erie? A boss once said to me "plan your work, and work your plan" - that's easier to do with the facts at your fingertips.

If you're in an industry with clients you need to personally visit across the country, saying you're going to Chicago is great, but how about reaching out to people in Joliet, Schaumburg, Rockford or even South Bend Indiana? All within 100miles of Chicago ... should you show them some love too?

While I'm loading test data ... I did a quick logo test. I was looking for something in a "script" style (this is essentially the cocacola font), that might lend itself to a "neon" rendering.

Another forward step: Server hosting - Amsterdam (EU GDPR Data Protections) Wordpress framework - installed (why reinvent the wheel) Memgraph - installed (hint at where this is going) R/Shiny - installed (and connecting to memgraph) A lot to go, but its coming along.

Leveraging 7 years in enterprise CRM consulting, many years of academic research in social networks, and technology that has finally caught up to my vision of what a CRM system should be ... a new way of treating clients like a person is coming.
