Ginger Duan argues that Beijing may fear something Tibet advocacy has often overlooked: Chinese citizens questioning the state’s Tibet narrative. The detention of #ZhangYadi suggests Chinese-language pro-Tibet activism is being treated as a security threat. thediplomat.com/2026/09/afte...

Ginger Duan founded CYS4T to bring #Tibetan perspectives to Chinese speaking audiences. The group’s purpose is not to speak for #Tibetans, but to help their voices be understood. “Chinese is not our identity. It is our tool. Use it to tell the truth.” www.lhasaspring.org/p/speaking-f...

www.lhasaspring.org/p/tibet-caus... #华语青年挺藏会 @lhashspring.bsky.social

Intro for Chinese-speaking audiences on why Tibet (图博) and “Xizang” (西藏) are not equivalent: “Xizang” reflects a PRC state framing that confines Tibet to the Tibet Autonomous Region, rather than the broader #Tibetan homeland & identity. #华语青年挺藏会 chineseyouthstandfortibet.substack.com/p/online-lec...
