Hey guys! As most of you know, I started an indie game dev team, which is taking a lot of my time in this early concept phase. Once My team has the material they need, I’ll return to LLG with avengeance. Sorry For the inconvenience. Full statement here www.tumblr.com/longgoneguar...

Last page I drew a wide shot of Angel island, I actually spent a fair bit of time discussing locals and routes with a friend. This is an early sketch, as you see theres no lake as initially it was based mostly off SA1, but I changed that in the final page to be consistent with divergence. #WIP

Finally I want to thank everyone so far for their support, it really keeps me going more than you know. I would love nothing more than to continue to work on this project and show these niche characters the love and attention they deserve, so thank you so much for allowing me to!

to reemphasize what’s said above, the one page a month is a MINIMUM. I want as badly as you all do to get a move on so I will be doing all I can push forward as much as possible. Thank you so much for your patience, and your interest! It really means so much to me!

This checkpoint however does mark an unfortunate shift in schedule: as I do not have any pages of chapter 1 ready to go, i’ll be switching to a monthly release with side content to fill the down time. Please check this tumblr post for more details. www.tumblr.com/longgoneguar...

We reached the prologue Milestone! The prologue is done and with it imma take the rest of the month off as a break- at least from posting. I still have to sketch out chapter 1 and after, theres a lot to do and we’re just getting started, so I hope you’re all looking forward to it!

Side note: it’s come to my attention that in addition to the massive fumble of forgetting moon in on page 3 in the panel were it was the main focus, I have also been forgetting Tikal’s dress pattern this entire time.

im Not sure if it’s necessary here but twitter resolution had me uploading each page twice, once in a thread and once in a solo post. Gonna be copying that here too cuz it pads activity n feels good. Oh I guess also a thread makes it easier to read in order. Yknow. If that matters

As a quickER note, I will definitely be more active here than on twitter as this is my preferred platform to idle around on. Obviously pages will go up at the same time on both, but odds are I may be a bit more vocal here regarding the process or minor updates.

As a quick note, I am not now nor have I ever been fast or efficient with my art, and I am really hoping to change that starting with this comic. Following the prologue I’m hoping to manage at least 1 page a month, speeding up there after. Apologies in advance for the pace.

This story originally began as an AU on tumblr RP blog I began some 10+ years ago. However following frontiers, I was able to rewrite the ideas I had into something that was supplemental to the game’s canon universe. We’ve got a long road ahead, but it is my sincere hope you enjoy it!

Hello! Welcome to the Long Gone Guardians comic page! this is a fan work written and drawn by me, Norou, that aims to explore and expand some of the niche lore of Sonic the hedgehog canon, specifically the ancients and echidnas. Obviously, everything here is not official at all.
