I would really love to know how Mike Flanagan feels about IT: Welcome to Derry since Dick Hallorann is featured in the series.

You can just tell when a Stranger Things fan didn’t watch Welcome to Derry.

If we ever get a Dick Hallorann spinoff, I think it should be a movie and it ends with him driving up to the Overlook Hotel for a job interview. I absolutely DO NOT want to explore the mysteries of the hotel.

It will never not be funny realizing that The Shawshank Redemption, one of the most iconic and memorable movies ever, is connected to a films such as Children Of The Corn 5 or Sometimes They Come Back…For More.

I’m finally going to watch The Life Of Chuck!

I hope IT: Welcome to Derry’s success warrants a Dick Hallorann series that is set after WTD and features Dick having confrontations with True Knot type cults and eventually his early days working at the Overlook Hotel, perhaps learning about The Dark Tower as well.

WELCOME TO DERRY is amazing. First episode is terrifying.

There should be a law where no one under any circumstances can adopt a BLACK cat in late September and the entire month of October.

Doesn’t matter how many great horror movies get made, doesn’t matter how many times they’ve saved the theatrical movie business since Covid…the genre still can’t get any respect. The “it’s not a horror movie” crowd is always there. This includes filmmakers who can’t admit they made a horror movie.

A little fact about me, my top 5 favorite horror characters go as follows: Chucky, Ash Williams, Pennywise, Dick Hallorann, Pinhead.🔪🩸🎃💀

I would love to know how @mikeflanaganfilm.com feels about Dick Hallorann officially being confirmed as an integral character in IT: Welcome to Derry, being portrayed by Chris Chalk.

Dick Hallorann was able to survive a literal ancient transdimensional shapeshifting alien but couldn’t survive a crazed mortal man with an axe.

When you think about it, Ash Williams uses humor 24/7 to hide what he truly is inside, a sad broken man full of love longing to protect the people and possessions closest to his heart.

You don’t need Andy Barclay to bring back De Silva.

LFAF @lfaf.bsky.social · 16/04/2025

There is a way to bring back Mike Norris and Karen Barclay to the Chucky franchise without them having to battle Chucky once again.

Happy birthday to Brad Dourif! One of the best actors of all time, and portraying the best movie villain ever with Chucky. It’s crazy how versatile my goat is!

Outside of Karen and Mike, the character I want to see return to the Chucky franchise most is Kristen De Silva.

Robert Englund became Freddy Krueger when he was 37. Brad Dourif became Chucky when he was 38. David Howard Thornton became Art the Clown when he was 37. Tony Todd became Candyman when he was 38. Hell, Tobin Bell became Jigsaw when he was 62. IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO MAKE IT BIG, DON’T GIVE UP!
