At what point in this debate about drinking in the stands will the voice of actual fans get heard? It doesn't actually seem to be very popular with the people it most affects.

This drinking in your seat at football thing is a bit weird. A PM who is a genuine football fan advocating a policy that corrects an unfairness, but is actually very unpopular with fans while being popular with some owners. And now official spokespersons are talking it down again.
