Have spent the day messaging, phoning and arguing with conveyancers who have held up my house ownership change process by two months over not sending a piece of paper to one another. Cast the lot of them into hell, it’s the least they deserve.

Had the most incredible time on my first ever solo holiday. Met some wonderful friends, had a little holiday romance, just the right amount of chaos and mess. After five years of not leaving the UK or being away I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect week.

Had probably the most “gym bro” meal I’ve consumed in a while. A chicken breast, a fried egg and a half tin of baked beans (with a light dusting of grated cheese). Feels wrong but was surprisingly good. Think I’ll swap the chicken breast for chicken sausages next time.

[Ukpol] My prediction: Burnham will be a longer lasting and generally more successful PM than Starmer but may not make it past the next election. Policy wise I’ll hate most of what he will do, but he’ll generally communicate more effectively and will manage the party with more skill

[Ukpol] I wonder if I’ll hate Burnham less than I hate Starmer as PM. They’re both empty suited weathervanes. But Burnham seems more politically adept, so perhaps he might be a more effective PM than Starmer has managed to be.
