Fantasy monster created and designed by me, inspired by highland cows, lion body, fox tail, elephant ears, and deer antlers. They are a nature being that protects the forest, but for this purpose they have to stay still to give nature its spiritual energy. They have plants growing on them and are in a dark forest background. Some adventurers just stumbled upon the giant creature. What are their true intentions? The art is inspired by both high fantasy and dark fantasy and uses the digital watercolor technique. This creature design and illustration are my attempt to create a hazy atmosphere of wonder.

Shatterjacks - small group predators. Their red tail spikes are launched at high speeds. When they hit organic matter, they rapidly calcify and embrittle it, effectively turning victims to stone. The Shatterjacks then break them apart and eat the chunks. #art #creature #bestiary #worldbuilding
