iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

my two cents on AI "art": creativity does not depend on internet connection.

online platforms and magazines also love to speculate. as much as i love that their music is being discovered by more people, i feel like the mainstream does pose a threat to what they are trying to do and it's just sad...

AFAIK their identities were discovered by a minority of fans, some of whom are very loud 🤦🏻 that line about shouting their real names is true, some people were yelling their (alleged) names at them at a few concerts.

even though i'm not as invested in the lore either, Caramel devastated me. their one boundary with the audience was anonymity. with the current state of celebrity culture, i don't see how maintaining that is possible (and i don't like it). music is a business but the musicians are still people

and we thank him for it tbh!! they knew what they were doing with that idea 💅 my biggest pieces of inspo for this fic was a mix of Sleep Token and Of Monsters and Men, so it's a little mess but it's *my* happy little mess 🤣

hell yeah!! that's what got me into their music, it's such a vibe and Ace matched it excellently ✨️

absolutely understandable 💅✨️ it's not our fault they're cool 🤣

oh gosh yes!! hi!! 🩷💙💚

i hope you enjoy it!! thank you 🫶🏻✨️

what happened to "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?" what happened to logging off? i get that "misery shared is misery halved," but perhaps save that for a therapist's office or a friend's apartment instead of unloading in some random artist's comment section.

like yeah, the world is miserable, and work is draining, and some people can't set a time to do something they enjoy, or even when they do, they find that they don't have the energy. that's fine. but, pray tell, how do you then have the energy to shit on people who post about their hobby?

i can (somewhat) understand not having a hobby. shitting on others for having one, however...

post a old illustration you still like (does traditional count?) (2023)

Three different bundles of mushrooms drawn using alcohol markers in a sketchbook.

because people were genuinely confused over what to write about. joy suddenly seemed to have been sucked out of everything that wasn't "sit and consume," and even that looked only one step above "numb out the world." it still worries me.

i remember in uni, we had a task to write a short SE-optimized article about a hobby we'd recommend. the professor had to specify that it had to be an ACTIVE hobby (something you do with effort (art, sport, whatever) rather than passively (watching Netflix, reading, etc). that moment sticks with me-
