Are immigrants the problem? NO! Creating an “enemy within” turns ordinary people into convenient scapegoats. Fear replaces facts, neighbors become suspects, and cruelty gets renamed protection. History warns us: when leaders need an enemy to justify more power, question the enemy—and the power.
