Finishing off (for now) my strawberry streak with some homemade Korean-style strawberry milk. I had a lot of fun playing with the colours at the bottom, and I'm happy with how I managed to shrink the strawb even more compared to my jam label :) 640 x 640 canvas, 10 x 10 pixel brush Made with GIMP

Today I found out that the emojis on my phone are completely different from the emojis on my computer - the phone emoji has the strawberry leaning to the left, whereas the computer emoji is completely vertical :’)

When I was looking for inspo last night for the strawb I did I found that most renditions have the strawb vertical (🍓) so I wanted to change that :p It was a bit fiddly shrinking down the strawberry but I'm really happy with how it turned out 640x640 canvas, with a 10x10 pixel brush Made with GIMP

Great job on this one! I like the extra detail of the sand particles flying by, it adds a lil' extra pizzazz to the animation :)

Insomnia's been kicking my butt lately, but I've been able to put together a pixel art rendition of my favourite seasonal fruit :p I tried out doing a hard outline w/ no shading to get more of a video-gamey feel and I'm happy with how it turned out 640x640 canvas, 10x10 pixel brush Made with Gimp

Looks really great, kiwi! It's been a while since I've last had tteokbokki, but one dish that I've had more recently is rabokki - that's when it's the rice cakes from tteokbokki with ramen/instant noodles - and this has reminded me that I should have some again soon :p

Thanks, Jojo! This was inspired by a tree in my garden, but it's a bit more grey irl (as well as the fence behind it) so I played around with the colours a bit to make it pop :)

Thank you! It certainly beats going into the colour picker and trying to guesstimate the best colour to show the pixel being a couple of shades lighter or darker :p
