I see why Geeawgh took a "light duties" job - makes sense. But the sick pay thing is a different matter. I'm pretty surprised Esme could afford employers' sick pay, anyway. Surely, Geeawgh should have been on SSP, being such a casual. Occupational sick pay is *not* a statutory right.

Reckon #TheArchers scriptwriters have got their American-tinted glasses on... I'm younger than Eddie and I don't remember anyone with "braces on their teeth" till about 1973. I had a well-off friend whose parents could afford an orthodontist. Rest of us made do with NHS dentistry (remember that?!).
