I hold up a sign (borrowed from a kind comrade) that says "As a patient I support striking doctors", while flanked by striking resident doctors, looking splendid in their orange BMA hats. We are stood on a hot, sunny picket line outside the Cambridge University Hospitals (Addenbrooke's).

Excellent doorknocking session at the Kaleidoscope development! Loads of Places For People tenants sick of blocked drains, broken lights, mould, hot water problems and fire safety issues. They're keen to join @acorncambridge.bsky.social and do something about it together! ✊

Another ACORN victory! I was in Milton Keynes with Neil and the National Membership Team to march on Leaders lettings agents. Neil's had home repairs unfinished for years, contractors turning up w no notice, and his family threatened w eviction over false rent arrears. We show up, 40 mins later...

Saurav is ACORN Cambridge's newest member. His landlord has been regularly harassing and verbally abusing him, and is now threatening him with illegal eviction. We'll just have to see about that...

I'm so proud to have been elected to the ACORN board, and it was great to attend the first in-person meeting on Saturday. There's lots of work to do, can't wait to get stuck into it. Together, we'll keep on winning and building power.
