Time to practice with Wwise now :) For a quick exercise, I made an abstract explosion sound. 3 individual transient, body and tail layers were placed inside random containers with variations for pitch/lowpass. Then, an event play these in sequence. #gamedev #indiedev #wwise #gameaudio #sounddesign

I got a box full of old electronics this week. It had a DSL modem (but it's a 2010s one tho), two PC keyboards, two basic phones and this fax machine. It still works fine besides the dust and makes lots of interesting noises. I'm 100% going to make a sound library with it soon :)

A single 2D action with multiple footstep sounds in fmod. Parameter Surface ID sets the volume of each multi instrument realted to a surface type (dirt, grass, stone, mud and sand), going from 1 to 5. The seek modulator is used along to avoid abrupt changes. #gameaudio #fmod #gamedev #indiedev

I made a simulation of a noisy receiver in fmod, using 2 parameters: Tuner - scrolls through the freq. bands (and the background noise is ducked when one is loud enough). Ionospheric Reflection - adds the unstable flanger effect. #sounddesign #gamedev #indiedev #fmod #gameaudio
