@joacim Mm. Man kan hoppas att såna fel är tillräckligt enstaka (man ska kanske minnas att fel uppstod tidigare också... To er is human, 'n all that)

@bodhipaksa @mrundkvist To make matters worse, the Swedish party that call themselves "Liberals" by name have joined forces with the right-wing group. It's to the point that I see them as "not so liberal any longer", i.e. by name more than anything else. To shame, really...

@mrundkvist Uhm, liberalism from an American perspective, or from a Swedish? The difference is pretty wild.

I'm fascinated... so many new vibe coded web sites have adopted Anthropic's color palette without even thinking about it. I hope they will grow up and find their own style some day...

My cat is very obviously Swedish. Around 3pm Swedish time, she asks for more food. Any Swede would recognise that as a cat's idea of the de-facto institutional traditional "3 o'clock coffee and snak break".

@bagder If I may influence a little: I would make this a somewhat regular thing. We're humans, we do need a break from the daily churn (and security reports are that). Why stop?

@niklaskorz 20+ years in, that's a lot of scripts from a lot of people (including home-grown) to change. Nice thought, but I think .git has pretty much ossified by now.

RE: hachyderm.io/@davidculley/116984144… I agree that there's a lack of understanding democracy in some circles. #codeberg's members made a collective and democratic decision, and there's nothing wrong with that. What I have a harder time is the argumentation that's used, and […]

So it seems that #codeberg decided to participate in the #ai polarisation. I don't judge them for that, it's their choice, of course. But, I can see how that will cause another exodus. More network drama, more polarisation. Will the next place also be (quasi-)centralised? I prefer to self-host […]

I was at #suomiareena today, and listened to Justin Trudeau talking mainly about democracy and its values for an hour. I could have listened for longer. He's one of those that, at least in my mind, will be remembered as one of the great and good people of this era, alongside Barack Obama.

According to no-color.org, setting the environment NO_COLOR means strip away the ANSI *color codes*, not *all* ANSI style codes. It seems, though, that too many confuse bold, italics and similar with color, i.e. strip away *all* ANSI style codes when NO_COLOR is set. This seems to have […]

Addendum: please do not take this as a critique of pi.dev specifically. It's not gonna stop me trying it out, as soon as I figure out how to theme it to my liking. If you want to play with an agent harness, this one looks pretty darn cool in its simplicity and modularity.

This is an example of a trend in TUIs, where Colors Must Be Used! And sure, colors are nice, I agree with that. But please leave that to the user! Or use semantic coloring, allowing the user to use whatever preset they like! Anything else ends up being rubbish, one way or another.

Can't say the UI was much better in dark mode. Sure, the yellow text glows! But, there are other parts of the initial output that's in relatively dark greys, quite low contrast. You basically have to be in a dark room, no ambient light, to enjoy this...

Ok, rant mode on... Why. The F*CK. Does. Everyone. *Assume*. Dark mode? Yeah, I know, "everyone" loves dark mode. I. Don't! But apparently, I'm supposed to. So here's what I get for just starting a new tool I wanted to try out. Completely f*ing unreadable.

In Sweden, you may here people say "katten paste" (in english, that would be "the cat paste"). Seems like nonsense to the non-Swede, and yet... See, the "cut'n" in "cut'n'paste" sounds very much like the swedish word for "the cat" (you guessed it, it's "katten"!). I hope you enjoyed this […]
