Opening crawl of the phantom menace.
Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute.

Hoping to resolve the matter with a blockade of deadly battleships, the greedy Trade Federation has stopped all shipping to the small planet of Naboo.

While the Congress of the Republic endlessly debates this alarming chain of events, the Supreme Chancellor has secretly dispatched two Jedi Knights, the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, to settle the conflict....

Been feeling this this week.

Photo of Karis Nemik from Star wars: Andor with the quote "the pace of repression outstrip our ability to understand it. And that is the real trick of the imperial thought machine. It's easier to hide behind 40 atrocities than a single incident."

I just checked another library here locally and they had the eAudio available. So your library probably either has it blocked specifically or its price category blocked. Hoopla is great, but it can get unsustainable quickly for materials budgets

It would allow a library to drop overdrive and still have access to new content. Hoopla also allows libraries to block parts of their catalog based on format, cost per circ proce point, or individual titles. My library in VA is showing the ebooks (but not eaduio) available in hoopla. 2/2

Dems win by providing a clear alternative, not by being polite republicans. Dems need more candidates like Mamdani and Abughazaleh, not Fetterman or Sinema.
